Once again our public birthday teas are sure to please! This tea will feature an etiquette and history presentation of tea,(how to hold the tea cup properly, etc) how to sip from the tea cup properly, and 5 courses of food from appetizer through dessert. A BONNETS AND BOWS TEA PARTY!
Bring a special bonnet to decorate for this fun tea party! Pamela will show you how to decorate a hat using no glue, just ribbons to make your bonnet full of streamers and bows! We will sit down to formal tea first, with 5 courses, then we will move to our back dining room for a hat decorating adventure! Cost is $20 per person plus tax, and supplies will be provided. Calling all Poets! If you are a poet yourself or just want to share favorite poetry , please come join us for this special tea! This tea is open to anyone who would even like to come LISTEN to poetry! The menu for this will be foods that inspire imagination...perhaps foods that famous poets ate to maintain creativity! Come join us for an ICED TEA TASTING EVENT! Because of the warmer weather, all guests may choose tea from our tea list and their own teapot. The loose leaf tea will be brewed in your own teapot, then poured over tall iced glasses with lemon if you choose. Seasonal treats will be served. This is a tea called Tea and Thee because it is going to be a Hymn sing tea! Hymn books will be provided as we gather around the piano for an old fashioned Hymn Sing! This American Girl Doll Tea is sure to please. Last year this was sold out early, so make your reservations! Each doll gets their own place setting with their own teapot, teacup, real tea to pour, tiny little finger sandwiches and sweets to feed the dollie, and the little ladies get the children's menu, moms and grandmothers get the adult menu. Etiquette of how to hold the teacup properly will be explained, how the napkin goes on the lap, and other fun etiquette for dollie and ladies!
