Floating Mountain is a teahouse that offers over 40 types of specialty Chinese teas, served in traditional Chinese or Western style. Our serene quiet place is located in the Upper West Side (239 West 72nd Street, 2nd Floor) and is open daily from 11am to 9pm. Tea tasting and tea ceremonies are a part of the menu. Tea related handmade ceramic art pieces created by local and international contemporary artists are displayed in our gallery and are available for purchase. Floating Mountain conducts live music nights, various workshops, poetry readings and other private events. We also host a daily free silent tea bowl ceremony, that runs from 11am to 12pm, and all are welcome to join!

Oolong For Now
Great selection of teas in a calm and serene atmosphere. My only wish is that they served some light snacks too, as I find that after a while I get peckish and a mildly flavored bite can enhance the tea-drinking experience. So I end up having a snack before/after.
