My girlfriends and I had decided to have tea since some girls have never been to one. After our visit, I know we will never return here. The place was cute but did not really look like a tea house. The food was very good but the tea was COLD and served in a ceramic pot rather than a china pot. 3 girls could not make it and we were told that we must still pay for them but we get to take the food home. The website stated a 24 hour cancellation policy but when I made the reservation and gave my credit card, I was not told that we would be charged for the missing people. The website did not say that either. I understand that they had prepared the food for us but if we were to be charged for missing people, they should have confirmed the reservation with a phone call and advised me of this policy. I/we feel this is very poor customer service and now my friends and I will never recommend this place.

We are very sorry that Lori and her friends were unhappy after visiting our tea room. We are located in a beach town and are therefore more casual in our decor and serving pieces than the 'Victorian' style tea rooms that use china tea pots. Many of our customers find that to be part of our charm. Again, we are sorry that Lori did not. As for our cancellation policy, it is not stated on our website. Many of our customers do not use the internet. We do not accept reservations on our website. We feel that explaining our policy to our customers over the phone when we request a credit card number to hold the reservation, seems to work best. We explain our policy each and every time we take a tea reservation to try and avoid any confusion. Again, we apologize for any misunderstanding. While the service was very good and cheerful and the food was wonderful, the choice of foods was not as extensive as I hoped for and they aren't by the sea. I had envisioned tea by the sea and the shop is in a kind of strip mall/
shopping complex. Just not the kind of tea room I was hoping for. It was more like a very nice cafe.

I had the pleasure of hosting a Red Hat Tea in 9/8/07 & our group of 7 were all very happy with everything. The food was well presented & very tasty. It is a small cozy place, would go back in a heart beat!! 3 cheers to Lisa & Linda!!

Our goal @ 3 Peas is to serve our customers the very best we can. We are disappointed that Jan did not have a pleasant experience and does not elaborate on what she found distasteful, thus not giving us an opportunity to rectify it. My friend and I were in the area for another event. I researched tearooms before our day so I could plan a special lunch. We did not plan to get lost. We finally called the restaurant and they guided us with perfection right to their door. I wasn't sure what to expect from a store front tearoom. When you step through the door the store front disappears. It is a charming,quait,cosy, lovely tea room.We were the last customers of the day and they very graciously sat us and stayed later for us. Everything was wonderful from beginning to end.Highly reccomend.
