Our tea room is not a restaurant, it s a place where you will experience the peaceful & forgotten elegance of Having Tea.
You shall find a warm loving atmosphere, with soft music, Royal Doulton china, & Sterling Silver flatware.

Food: We have over a three hour drive from Detroit Michigan to Grand Rapids Michigan. I just called to book another tea party, I was shocked to hear that A Victorian Tea Lady will be closing after the Holidays. Our Society enjoys visiting tearooms, nothing we have visited compares to this establishment. The whole experience was beyond our 'EXPECTATIONS', its spectacular, the most elegant of any other, nothing lacking, and 'SADLY' none of the other tea rooms are anything special, we have visited all of them. Your elegant Victorian tea parties are AMAZING, once you come here, you will never find another tearoom so OUTSTANDING! We HOPE you have a change of heart. May God keep shining in you! |

Food: We drove all the way from Detroit. What a wonderful experience visiting this charming tearoom. This home is so beautifully decorated with real Victorian Antiques, you just cannot take them all in. The food is the best ever, so beautifully presented and more than you can eat, your stuffed. Everything is so elegant. This is by far the best tearoom we've visited. Carol is so sweet, she makes you feel like you have been friends forever. Can't wait to go back to this Chrsitian tearoom! Food: We cannot stop thinking about the wonderful unique experience, in afternoon tea dinning. Just as soon as we stepped into this wonderful Victorian Tea Parlor, we could image ladies of a bygone era enjoying afternoon tea. Lady Carol & her husband has created an elegant way to take you back to Somewhere in Time. She certainly knows how to bring the art of Victorian tea to a higher level. Each of the many courses were beautifully presented from the tasty Victorian soup, fancy tea sandwiches, wonderful desserts, the best of any scone's we every had and a nice variety of fine teas. If you want to experience true Victorian elegance its here. We have been to many other tea rooms over the years this is the most elegant memorable experience of any. Everything was so Splendid! Food: Each time by far this is the most elegant & pleasant tea experience we ever have had. No one does it like 'A Victorian Tea Lady' we all rate this tea room #1. When you enter the door of the VTL you immediately know you have stepped back into a glorious Era You'll experience the ambience of pure Victorian splendor. With elaborate tea table settings, most beautiful bone china, outstanding food, warmth after warmth. Serving tea parties has been developed to a fine art here. For a very unique experience we definitely recommend this tea room everything was exquisite! |

Food: We too have visited many other tea rooms, by far this one is the best of the best. The food was wonderful, the scones are more than excellent, service was outstanding. Everything about this tea room is amazing. We actually stayed over three house, we were never rushed. One problem we have over 37 in our group this amazing tea house can only accommodate 12. When we told the rest of our group how wonderful this tea room is, they all want to come. We already planned our next two dates in December. This is well worth the 2 hour drive. Can't wait to come back. Lady Carol we will tell everyone about your excellent beautiful tea house. I don't think you know what a blessing you are to others. God Bless! |

Food: For over nine years our group has traveled to many unique tea parlors in state as well as out of state. We were just amazed from the moment we walked into 'A Victorian Tea Lady's' tea room. This is by far the most elegant tea room we have ever been to. One cannot stop being amazed; no matter where you look you are surrounded by beauty, the Victorian decor, gorgeous table linens, beautiful bone china, and music softly playing in the background. The food is amazing, from the tea all the way throughout the last dessert. Nothing lacking, every little detail is perfectly done to perfection, you can tell how much joy, love, thought, and all the care that goes into this beautiful tea room. Food: This is the loveliest place in Michigan to enjoy the art of taking tea, its just amazing. What a lovely way to spend a afternoon with friends, the Royal Victorian High Tea was spectacular, nothing lacking. We had a wonderful time visiting, we were not rushed, everything was absolutely divined. Unlike most other tea rooms; each of the many courses was served with impeccable timing as well as wonderful service. 'No tiered stands'we were pampered. What a beautiful experience, one we will always remember. We are very sadden to hear that Lady Victoria will be closing this; 'Elegant Victorian One of a Kind' tea room this Winter. Our ladies were planning to come back around Christmas, were heard so many wonderful things about your Elegant Candlelight Victorian Christmas tea parties, We only hope you change your mind. |

Lady Victoria (Carol) and her husband & Miss Kate were outstanding hosts, we all felt so pampered. Food: After reading all the wonderful reviews about this tearoom, we decided to try it. Too many times to our disappointment tearooms are so called and advertised as 'Elegant' and nothing is elegant. This tearoom is like stepping back in time, you feel like you are on an imaginary voyage.EVERYTHING was OUTSTNADING what a glorious, afternoon. This establishment was warm and full of grace, food was outstanding detail after detail full of artistry that you just don't find at other establishments. A Victorian Tea Lady--- Is overwhelming with timeless beauty, everything was OUTSTANDING!
