Enjoy a variety of quality teas, including fresh teas from our gardens, 'old-world' Italian foods, salads, scones, biscotti, and whatever else Gina may have cooked up—and believe me, she can cook!
Our Country Tea Room or Gardens are available for the following Teas: BIRTHDAYS, SHOWERS, CLUBS, FAMILY & FRIENDS, OR WHATEVER ELSE YOU MAY WISH.

Food: This was delight. Six of our ladies from Bakersfield traveld to Abella Garden Inn for our annual Valentine Tea. Gina is a wonderful hostess.She had us dress the appropriate part with hats and furs that she supplied. We thought if she brings one more ounce of food we will die. Everything was so good you couldn't pass it up. Our group would recommend the Abella Garden Tea Room to everyone. We want to return and have tea in the garden which is beautiful. |

Judy and the rest of the ladies, what can I say? I LOVED THE 'FUN' WE ALL HAD, and you notice I said we which includes me, ha, ha!!! I put a lot of personal thought and attention to everything I do as relates to the teas and to the food I serve, and I am always delighted when guests appreciate my hard work! The 100% Italian part of me always wants to serve too much food. If you had not eaten it, I would have been very disappointed since I hate to waste what takes me long hours to cook, ha, ha! Food: We had a family tea luncheon at Gina's quaint bed and breakfast with 8 ladies. We had the place to ourselves and a lot of personal service and attention from Gina. Luckily I read other people's reviews and realized that this would not be your traditional English tea party! Gina makes the experience unique with her saucy and bold personality and she treats each guest like family the minute they walk in the door. We got to pick our own tea cups and old fashioned hats to wear during the tea party, which made it fun and silly. The mint leaf tea was excellent and made fresh with mint from her garden. It was by far the favorite tea at the table. She had a lot of selection in teas, but most were bagged rather than loose leaf. We also enjoyed Gina's home-mixed sugars with fresh flavors added. Food: My new bride and I chose Abella Garden Inn as a wonderful place to host a tea party for our families the day after our wedding. We had many places to enjoy our tea on the grounds including the dining room, patio, and multiple tables throughout the garden and the gazebo. Because we had a group of twenty, we chose the beautiful tea room. The food was amazing, particularly the scones. There were plenty of teas to select from, and the atmosphere was perfect for our guests. The buffet style worked very well for the food. Above all, though, this is not your average tea party. Gina interacts with the guests in delightful ways, and it truly made the tea party an experience we'll never forget. I couldn't recommend it enough. |

Food: Tucked away behind a nondescript parking lot, this is a great place to have a private party, but not a quiet one! If you have a lot of fun loving people, this might be the tea for them. Part of the experience of this tea is the people who serve it.The owner-cook is very Italian in every sense of the term. When you sit at her table, you become her family. She will make a point to introduce her staff members and she is extremely high energy, however she seems to have a keen sense of when people want lots of attention or when they need a little extra privacy. Come expecting something completely different from the traditional English tea. Thank you my dear new friend Kirsten for your review. I had a lot of fun celebrating your birthday and I'm glad you also enjoyed it. Even though I offer my Italian version of the English Tea, I am happy to offer the original English version if anyone requests it. I've only been open to the public a little over 3 months so I'm still 'getting my feet wet,' ha, ha! My tea selection is now 2 pages long and I also have a menu for anyone who wishes it.
