About My Food
Because I care about Your Good Health, I use only locally grown fresh produce from the farm (Rutiz Farm in Arroyo Grande) and all natural or organic products. All my food is homemade from scratch and I do not use anything that is processed and in plastic bags, cans, or boxes. I use real butter, whole milk, extra-virgin olive oil, and heavy whipping cream. I wash each individual leaf of lettuce one by one. Because what the food is cooked in is as important as how it's grown, I avoid baking my food in anything that is plastic coated or aluminum and use instead only cast iron, glass, or stainless steel.

The Abella Garden Inn is a beautiful and unexpected spot in Arroyo Grande! The gardens are enchanting and the room we had tea in was lovely. Gina is absolutely charming and such a sweet hostess! The food was a little different from the typical English tea due to her Italian influence but it was excellent!! The scones were wonderful and by the time dessert got there I was totally full!! The five of us girls had a lovely, relaxing time enjoying tea and tasty foods!!

Absolutely fantastic! Gina eagerly tended to my vegan needs, creating a delicious spread of tea house treats that made for a perfect afternoon. With a crackling fire in a cozy room and Gina's warm embrace, nothing could be more welcoming. I am a local, and plan on returning as soon as I can!

This was my first formal tea room experience and it was an amazing one. I will keep it short but I want to say my parents and I attended for the Mother's Day tea special and my dad was worried there wouldn't be enough food but we all left stuffed and with a plate of left overs. Gina made every effort to satisfy our every need and desire from refilling my dads sherry to upon request opening a bottle of fine champagne and serving fresh orange juice. It was quite the treat. I loved the quality of ingredients she used fresh quality lettuce and tomato and every thing was full of flavor. My dad originally wanted to reach for the salt and pepper but after tasting the salad and sandwiches he realized Gina knows exactly what she is doing and it didn't need anything. She had so many tea choice I can... (more)
