My sister and I came for lunch this past weekend, and enjoyed ourselves immensely! We were there for over 2 hours and were never made to feel rushed. Our server was very attentive and informative about the different types of teas. And the food was wonderful; love your soup!

What a lovely place! We came for afternoon tea this past weekend and were so delighted with the entire experience from the minute we stepped into the shop until we left. The staff was so friendly and the waitress so knowledgable about the teas. The food was wonderful and so beautifully presented; we did not want to leave. The gift shop has just about anything you could use for making your own tea. We enjoyed our afternoon immensely and will be returning many times.

Went to Amelia's this past weekend. It was a great place for a shower. The food was fabulous and plentiful. It was a very special place to visit with your friends and family. Our ages ranged from 14 to 78. We would absolutely visit again.

As a tea room owner myself, I can be fussy! However, I love to sample other tea rooms and was not disappointed when my niece and I stumbled upon your tea room on a recent visit. The service clearly shows your knowledge of tea! Each was brewed just right! Your choices for the 'Duchess Tea' were delicious and wonderful. I know I will want to visit again when I am at my niece's. Wonderful experience and beautiful tea pots! (And of course I could not leave without buying a new one for myself ;-)

I was given a gift certificate for this tearoom as a gift and it was the best gift I received! I had never been to Amelias but took my dughter this weekend and what a lovely place! We were able to have the afternon tea, served beautifully, and the food excellent. My favorite was the orange cranberry scone with the clotted cream. The staff made up feel so welcome, the service wonderful. The tea selection is quite extensive, and I chose the Autumn fruit and flowers tea which was so good, I had to purchase some from the gift shop on my way out.
We can't wait to return!

you're playing dirty on this review website, and it is just not fair.

Review on food and service and if you don't have anything nice or constructive to say (ex, complaining about how you are not in the top slots on this countdown) then do not say anything at all

Nothing great in my book-actually stopped there when driving through to visit family in south jersey. Everything was just average and the rooms are small-we felt claustrophobic. Gift shop does not have much in it at all!! The waitress was very nice however the whole experience was rather disappointing.

My husband and I were in Mullica Hill browsing and decided on Amelia's for lunch. What a hidden treasure. My husband ordered the quiche of the day and soup and I had ordered the assortment of sandwiches and a peach scone for dessert. I wish they would sell the recipe for that clotted cream! Excellent place to top off your afternoon in Mullica Hill.

What a wonderful place to have tea! I just had my daughters bridal shower here- her and her guests could not say enough! The food was delicious and filling, we didn't even need to have a cake since almost everyone had leftovers to take home! The staff was terrific as well, catering to our every need. Thank you Amelias!

Since I have had tea here before, was greatly surprised of my next experience.
Reservations were made six weeks prior - requested that all members of my party be seated together. Left several phone calls two days before tea; never received phone call back.
Our group did not seat together, service was rushed and sandwiches were stale.
Needless to say, It was not the pleasant afternoon that our group shares once a year.....

Tearoom Response
Dear Rosalie,

I am so sorry to hear that you were disappointed yesterday. Before you arrived, I spoke with several members of your party and was told that they didn’t need to be at the same table because everyone likes each other and would have no problem sitting separately. Also, after you arrived, I recall having a conversation with you and offering to put tables together for your group. However, you said that it would be okay, your group would play “musical chairs”. As to the phone calls, I told you in our conversation, that our phone lines had been down and we did try calling you but the phone number we were given was an incorrect number. I wish you would have spoken up during our initial conversation, especially since the rest of your group seemed to be having such a great time and enjoying their meals. We can’t be aware of any problems unless they are brought to our attention. Lastly, the sandwiches are made fresh every day so I am at a loss to explain why you felt they were stale. Our customers are very important to us and we strive to take care of our customers needs. I would be happy to speak with you further about your experience so that this does not occur again.

We visited this tearoom two years ago when antiquing in Mullica Hill and made a return trip all the way from Reading, PA just to have lunch at the tearoom. The experience did not disappoint. We ordered the Queen's Tea and it was delicious. Everything was fresh and homemade. The tea selection was excellent.

What a perfect place to go even on a hott day. I got the dutches tea which gave me a variety of everything. I loved the assortment of sandwiches, all were on different breads and filled me up. Make sure to save room for their delicious desserts that come with it as well (or ask for a take out box!) I will for sure be going again and again!

What a lovely tea room, it is Mullica Hill's own little secret gem! The food is so delicious, and the staff are warm, and inviting.
Plus the tea selection is quite extensive, I had a lemongrss green and my sisters had a chocolate tea, all of which we shared. We have decided we will make Amelia's our very own meeting place! We cannot wait to come back.

I cannot recommend Amelia's highly enough! Not only is the food delicious and beautifully presented, but the service is exceptional. From the owners right to one of our servers - Jemma (sp?) who went above and beyond to attend to the important details - we couldn't have asked for better.

We went out on a 'limb,' by booking the shower before we had ever tried the tea house - I can say without hesitate we were thrilled with the results.

Fabulous experience, great food, lovely room, extremely relaxing. I've enjoyed tea in NY and London on many occasions and this tearoom ranks very high on my list. Was head and shoulders above the Carlyle in NYC. Would like a bit more crumb on the scones, though.

Living in the DC area, I have been to some of the nicest tea rooms our country has to offer, however none of these establishments come close to offering the ambiance, exceptional service, menu options and atmosphere at Amelia's Teas and Holly Teahouse! I joined my mother and toddler daughter for lunch there this week. My white peony hot tea and my mother's iced tea were both served in gorgeous tea kettles, the classical music playing and delicious sandwiches and sweets made it an afternoon we won't soon forget! My toddler even had a wonderful time - they were so accomodating! The atmosphere was charming and extremely relaxing. I felt like I could just take a deep breath - and being a mother that doesn't happen too often while eating out. I didn't want the afternoon to end. We look forward to having lunch at Amelia's Teas and Holly Teahouse everytime I am back in the area! Thank you ladies for a very special afternoon.

I have visited this tea room on several occasions and have to say it is absolutely THE BEST! In fact, my daughter and I hold
Amelias as the standard set for any other tea rooms we visit, and we have yet to find any as wonderful as Amelias(even in New York city!) The food is always fresh and homemade, and so delicious. The presentation of the food is always beautiful. Best of all is the tea selection which is quite extensive. We love trying the different tea of the month, and can bring home our favorite loose tea. The staff is very friendly and we find ourselves feeling as though we are at a freinds house for afternoon tea. Just delightful!

The tea sandwiches and dessert was delicious. We were fortunate enough to have been there during the Christmas season to hear the beautiful live harp in the background.
