Variety: I saw this tea room on TeaMap and I dragged my fiance along with me. I absolutely loved it. The tea was delicious and the food was as well. Next trip to Milwaukee I will definitely be returning. |

Variety: The tea room is situated in the basement of an incredible building, decked out from surface to surface with eye-catching ephemera and hand-crafted marvels, upstairs and down. Natural light filters down to the dining room from a skylight on the roof, creating a totally serene atmosphere. Aside from the wonderful decor, the extensive tea menu is reason enough for any tea drinker yo be interested in this lovely spot. |

Variety: The Anaba Tea Room has multitude of white, green, oolong, black, pu-erh and herbals (including yerba mate). All tea served is from Rishi, a quality and reputable tea company. The food served is unique and always delicious. The soups are always from scratch, always a vegan choice. As far as tea prep goes, Anaba offers glass tea cups of various sizes, Tokoname for green teas and Gaiwan for Oolongs. They use tea timers and thermometers to assure the best experience. I was impressed with the staff's knowledge of teas and the cultures from which they originated. Fine green teas from Japan prepared traditionally in a Tokoname and delicate Oolongs brewed in a Gaiwan, an old Chinese tradition. Check out the seating in the greenhouse. |

Variety: Really neat place...It is a good tea room to take someone too. They have great food as well. It is at the bottom of a cool garden store and has an atrium above it, quaint and unique. |
