Antique Outlet & Mitra'sTearoom

Everybody at Mitra's was so friendly. My wife and I attended an afternoon tea with a group of friends in costume, and we all had a blast! So many places rush patrons; I can't remember the last time I spent an afternoon with friends enjoying each others' company at such a perfect pace!

This tearoom is amazing! Great atmosphere, wonderful service, delicious food, and a wide variety of tasty teas. I came in costume with several friends, and the staff was happy to accommodate us. I can't wait to go back!

Love this tearoom. The tea sampler plate is wonderful. Tomato Basil soup...wonderful..the cucumber sandwich with slices of cucumber is a great twist and the chicken salad rolled in almonds...loved it. I do not have any cons about this place. Will definately be back.

The Bride's Maid luncheon I gave for my granddaughter was lovely thanks to the staff, the food and wine and the atmosphere. We all had a great time. I would recommend the tea room anytime.

I discovered this tearoom about six months ago. I go as often as I can and have taken many friends there. I've observed quite a few special parties and everyone seems to have a great time. The quality of the food is excellent and the service is great. The sandwich sampler, with the three sandwiches, soup, salad/fruit, and mini muffins is my favorite as is the wonderful tomato basil soup (yummy). I love their desserts but keep going back to my favorites - coconut cake, apple pie and banana pudding. Thanks Mitra and Stephanie for providing wonderful food and service.

I scheduled my birthday party at Mitra’s Tea Room. It’s one of the best birthdays I’ve had! The food was great! I loved the tea sandwich sampler! And the flavored teas were delectable! Everyone was sharing what they got because it was everything was so great! It was also a pleasant atmosphere with the antiques all around. It was fun to walk around the antique outlet and find little treasures! I would recommend this tea room to anyone of any age!

Lovely tearoom in the middle of wonderful antique store, has everything and more. I always make sure I go to shop antiques when lunch time in near because this is just the loviest place to sip peach tea and eat delicious food, beautifully presented. This time is a truely a cherished time in my day for truly relaxing and being good to myself. Thank you Mitra and lovely assistant.

We the Red Hat Scarlett O'Bluebonnets had a group of 31 ladies there for lunch. It was one of the most enjoyable outings we have had. Mitra and Stephanie made all the ladies feel spedial. The food was delicious and the service was great considering our size. We will be back for more special treatment.

I just moved back to TX and found that my favorite local tearoom had closed. Had a friend coming from out of town and decided to try Mitra's. At first, I had a bit of trepidation about the location, and the lack of the natural brown sugar cubes which the old tearoom had. But when the Cherry/Apricot Tea arrived, it was so wonderful it did not need anything else! Absolutely heavenly! Tomato Basil soup was delicious, chicken salad divine. But the service was the BEST I have ever experienced. Felt like a VIP. Needless to say, we will be regular customers.
