I got to visit the teahouse before it closed in April, and I certainly can't wait until it reopens in August. The atmosphere was really nice, and of course the tea selection is incredible. I'm looking forward to next time so I can eat more of those strawberry scones!

Recently, I picked up a magazine of the top ten places to visit in Pittsburgh, and was shocked that there was no mention of Antiquitea!
The location may change (more room for grand events and socializing...)but the deep commitment to sharing their love for all things Victoriana is sure to inspire you and make you feel quite at home...August is just around the corner, and so is my next visit to the tearoom that feels more like a home away from home.
(Plus- my mom never made such delicious treats as you'll find here!)
Here's to cracking the top ten this time around ladies!

I was able to visit AntiquiTea in April just before it closed. I was amazed at the menu selection and can honestly say it took me forever to decide which tea to drink. Thanks Jan, we are really looking forward to the opening of our new building. If there is one thing we've learned from past experience it's that you don't stay in a space that is too small and you don't put more money than you have to in a building that you don't own. We know that this is a smart move and one that will help us to serve many more people in the custom they have come to expect from our AntiquiTea.

My husband and I enjoy visiting tea rooms, so while visiting my brother and sister-in-law in the Pittsburgh area I made a reservation at AntiquiTea which I found on the TeaMap website. My brother and sister-in-law have never been to a tea room so this was going to be a first for them. Well my husband and I know an exceptional tea room when we visit one and this definitely is one. We all enjoyed the delicious artichoke soup, the tea sandwiches, scones and mini desserts. We were fortunate enough to meet one of the proprietors, Nicole (she is the daughter of the mother/daughter ownership)and had such a wonderful time talking about our tea room experiences with her. If you don't visit AntiquiTea you will really be missing out on a wonderful Tea Room experience.

We recently had my daughter's 5th birthday tea party at AntiquiTea and were very pleased. The place is decorated very nicely and Patty and her staff did a fantastic job (and I'm extrememly picky as I used to be a corporate event planner prior to having children)! The tea selection was extensive and the food tasty. Patty had a lot of fun things to add since it was a children's tea, such as the frog/prince tea pot for their hot chocolate and a menu enjoyed by the girls. The moms had a nice time, too. Thanks so much Patty for a fine, fine job! I'd be happy to recommend you to anyone needing a special place to have a tea. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Patty and Nicole made me feel like a guest and not someone who just came along to drive and help out. The food was especially good. The artichoke soup was delicious, the tea sandwiches were so good I helped clean plates, if you know what I mean, and Olga's Chocolate Truffles were fantastic. Patty and Nicole, I'm coming back just to eat....do you do take out? Everyone working that day was friendly and went out of their way to treat me special. AntiquiTea, you do the right things right and you made our baby shower a big success. Thank you.

The food and service was exceptional, can't think of anything I would have changed. I would also like to add how accommodating Patty was, I called her three days before the shower because my daughter-in-law went into premature labor. It truly is a delight to relax for tea in your cozy and charmingly decorated victorian tearoom. Your 'delicious' and beautifully prepared tea sandwiches, tea breads, scones and desserts reflect the care and love that you have by making everything so extra special. Your artichoke soup and seafood bisque are the best I've ever tasted! I was amazed at how many gifts and antiques you have in the gift shop areas. Also,I especially love the 'One of a Kind' uniquely designed Freshwater jewelry.

I go to AntiquiTea for lunch whenever I am near that neighborhood. I wish it could be more often, because the food is always excellent, the service couldn't be better, & the ambience soothes one's mind.

My Red Hat group has been doing teas all over the Northern Allegheny and Southern Butler Counties. Your Tea Room is by far our favorite---the teas, the service and the atomsphere are above reproach and quite 'Classy' A most delightful way to spend an afternoon. Thank you!

I took my friend Joanna Liptak to the AntiquiTea Tearoom on Sept. 4 to celebrate her 62nd. birthday. It was our first visit and surely will not be our last. From the moment we entered the front door into the beautifully decorated room, Patty made us feel welcome and 'at home.' The food was delicious and service excellent. I will and have highly recommended a visit to this beautiful tearoom!
Thanks again Patty and I will see you again soon.

This tea house was outstanding, service, food, and gift shop. Can't wait until they have a larger location - I want to have a fundraiser here to show off this great tea house!

We would like to thank everyone for their kind words. The fact that we are growing out of our space is a good thing and it is because of wonderful people like all of you!

I absolutely love your tea room and gift shop! Everything about your place is warm, relaxing and it is obvious that there was much attention to detail in creating this charming tea room. The artichoke soup was out of this world as was our entire lunch. The decorated tiny teaspoons are something I'll never forget. We will definitely be back!

I held my sister's wedding shower here and I can't say enough positive things about AntiquiTea! I planned everything long distance and there were no problems - I simply showed up and enjoyed a lovely afternoon. Patty and Nicole helped me plan over the phone, the selection of tea and food was amazing and the charming atmosphere made it enjoyable for all! Patty and Nicole were the perfect hostesses. I received a lot of compliments but the credit really goes to AntiquiTea...

I found our AntiquiTea experience to be quite an enjoyable one. A few friends and I made the drive from Cleveland and we were glad we did! The four of us thought the food was delicious and the decor,
quite charming. We would definitely return.

I was recently at Antiquitea for a friend's bridal shower/tea and from the decor to the outstanding tea-time treats, you felt like you were transported to an English parlor.

I went with my mother and daughter and had by far the best 'tea house'experience ever!!! I've been to exclusive holiday teas in downtown Pittsburgh and found the food and service at AntiquiTea to be far superior and at a bargin price as well. The next time you're looking to impress someone or celebrate a special occassion you need to book the 'high tea' you will not be disappointed!

I have been to many tea rooms both in and around the area as well as many other states and AntiquiTea has been the best by far. The food was great and the scones the best I've had. I love the attention to detail. I also like that they do lunches so even if we don't want the full afternoon tea we can stop in for a bite. I know why you girls need to expand, I know God will bless you and you will do well.

Yesterday was a bridal shower for my niece held at Antiqui Tea. It was a lovely and memorable experience. The atmosphere was cozy, the food excellent, and service outstanding. I have been to high tea's in other major cities and Antiqui Tea certainly was high in the ranking. My suggestion if your looking for a classy, well executed event contact the owners Patty and Nicole. You won't be sorry you did!
