Overview
The tradition of Afternoon Tea is as rich as our 75-year history. Tea is served daily in the Lobby Tea Court.

Afternoon tea at the Biltmore was a great experience overall. The tea was served just off to the side of the high-traffic lobby which made for very poor privacy and the heat off the bay windows made it slightly uncomfortable but the whole leaf teas were wonderful (I highly recommend the Bombay Chai) and the food was delicious with plenty of leftovers to take home. I attended the tea with my daughter and was thrilled to find that unlike many other hotel tea services, children are charged a fraction of the adult price. The menu apparently changes monthly with service only running between October and May. We enjoyed hor d'ourve style tea sandwiches which included filet mignon, caviar, prosciutto with melon, brie, and cucumber. Second course included banana bread and lemon scones but the real treat was the 3-tier dessert tray that included lime brulee, pineapple cream puffs, blood orange truffles, chocolate dipped strawberries, coconut cheesecake, grand marnier tulip cups, and mint cookies.
