My wife and I love this tea room. The decor and set up are amazing. I can actually feel the breeze blowing up onto the veranda. The staff are always warm and friendly, I can't help but feel like family the moment I walk in. Our meals have always been very tasteful and when you remember that 'everything' is made by hand back in the kitchen then you can appreciate the time it takes to get your meal. I have to say I also enjoy the specialty cakes and pies they regularly have available.
For me, when I need to unwind, relax, de-stress, and re-focus Aunt Laura's Sweet Shoppe & Tea Room provides the perfect atmosphere.

I also recently found a review by the editor of the Newnan-Coweta Magazine. You can read her review here: http://ncmagteawithfriends.blogspot.com/2008/05/aunt-lauras-sweet-shoppe-tea-room.html

I just can't see how anyone can not enjoy their tea at Aunt Laura's.

Aunt Laura's is for the person who has exquisite taste. The decor is imaginative and fanciful. The cuisine is exquisite and delicate. A wonderful experience for a first time 'tea taster'. And a refreshingly delightful treat for the 'aficionado'. My compliments to the chef and employees!

The employees are very friendly and nice. However, I would not recommend. We went here for a party. When we walked in there was dirty plates and food all over the floor at the table right when you walk in the door. They seemed to act as if that was normal. The party was for a 5 yr. old. The food took a very long time and when it arrived, the portions were very small. The kids were excited when we first arrived but by the end they were cranky from waiting and still hungary when we left. The birthday girls mom apologized about the wait and food.

It's a delightful place to go and enjoy a good cup of tea along with an excellent selection of food items on the Menu. The beauty of the Veranda Decor along with the garden background is so relaxing. The tea room presents a 'warm' atmosphere in gathering with family or friends for all those special occasions. I love this Tea Room.

I have visited Aunt Laura's Tea Room twice recently. Each time I have been very impressed not only with the great selection of food and teas, but also with the excellent service. Laura and her Mother were very kind and friendly and generous. I look forward to visiting the Tea Room again very soon.
