OOPS! In my first review I called Barbara's scone a crumpet by mistake. A scone by any other name would taste as sweet :).

My niece, Marian, and I came for tea on a triple-digit June 17, 2010. The charming Tea House was cool and Barbara was warm and loving. The quiche was the best I have ever had, while my niece found the crumpet unforgettable. Every attention to detail was not over-looked. We'll be back!

I always find myself in another world when I come here. My mom, daughter and friends enjoy it here, also. We celebrated my mom's 80th birthday and enjoyed every moment of it. She was very pleased with the service and tea, as were the rest of the family. This tea house is a GEM for us. Thank you very much for a great time, once again.

I did enjoy my day at this tearoom. The large selections of teas offered is what I thought were great. The food and tea choices complimented each other well. The ambiance and the service were one of the best I've seen in a while. I will return soon.

This is my second time at Barbara's Tea House and I'm finally getting around to writing about my experience. I really want this place to stay around for a very, very long time. I am always received with such warmth and gratitude. The food and the ambiance are just perfect...especially the selections of teas....delightful! I will always remember the special attention they give to their customers. I'm so happy this place exists and I will return as much as I can!

this is by far the best tea house i have ever been too!!!! the service and food/tea is excellent!!!!! i love coming to barbaras tea house. she is the most nicest person you can meet. i bring my friends and family here and everyone loves them. if you are looking for a great victorian tea house you have to come here first. trust me!!!!

I was impressed with the service and the ambiance. We went for the Mother's Day Tea and the music was beautiful. Everyone made us feel special...and we even were given a special keepsake on the house for being 'moms'. We all enjoyed ourselves and we will return soon. This is a special place!!!

Where to start! This was by far the best tea house I've ever been to. There were 4 of us and I think we all felt the same. If it takes a few phone calls to get in don't give up, you won't be sorry. Barbara is a wonderful hostess, she really made us feel comfortable and answered any questions we had. The house is beautifully decorated and lots of treasures you can purchase. I especially liked the set up of a few tables in different rooms instead of just one big room, it gave it a more personal feel. From the menu my friends and I chose Lady Lucy's Tea, which included tea service and food. WOW was it good and we were very happy with the quantity and quality of the food selections. We were offered all the tea we wanted, we chose to try raspberry chocolate, passion fruit, chocolate vanilla, and raspberry cream,(tea leaves) they were all wonderful but I think our favorites were raspberry chocolate and passion fruit. Thank you Barabara and family for a great day! We will definitely be regulars.

Barbara is a very warm and friendly person her tea house has always made us welcome we have been going there for many occasions my daughters bridal showers, baby showers, friends bridal showers and baby showers and always always have had the best experience. We almost fell like she is family now.

Barbara once again everything was excellent. Sandwiches, scones, tea, and service. Thanks for making this one of my favorite getaway spots.

I finally found a tea house that really gives you the experience of the 'splendor of tea'. The entire experience was made special the moment we entered. The house is decorated with so much beauty and the ambiance is wonderful. You feel very special when your there, you almost do not want to leave. Barbara and her family helped it all come together for us. My friend and myself really needed to get away and we were so relaxed and full of joy when we left. The food was very good and the teas were assortments are great. Barbara, many blessings to you and your family.

My mom, sister and I visited Barbara's to celebrate my mothers 75th birthday. Both my sister and I thought we were just going to go because it was something mom liked to do. Well, we were pleasantly surprised, the day was so great for all of us. The atmosphere, excellent service and great tasting food was more than we expected. Barbara and her staff made this special occasion even more special. Mom rated her tea experience as the very best. Thank you Barbara for making such a special memory for us all. Whenver we are back in So. Cal, we will definately be stopping by.

I have experienced many tearooms in both northern and southern California and I have just found Barbara's to be up there with the best of the best, The ambiance, food tea and service is wonderful. The decor and the house is the most beautiful. I will definitely return.

Best tea house... I am blesssed is close to my home. Great service with attention to detail and the owner Barbara and her family provide you with an excellent experience. Lovely. The teas recipes are made by Barbara and the food is scrumptious.

I can't stop telling my friends about the wonderful food, decor, service and atmosphere at Barbara's! There for the first time this past weekend, my friend Lynn and I are already looking forward to our next visit! This is a teahouse NOT to miss!!

This was my first experience going to a teahouse, and I absolutely loved it. Not only were the different teas and food delicious, but Barbara and her daughter were very nice,friendly and attentive. I took my daughters (9 and 4 yrs old) along with my niece and nephew and everyone enjoyed this new experience. I will definately be back soon.

I have been going to Barbara's for about 2 years now and what I love about her place is the great service and quality of food, but especially her scones. They are fabulous!! I am always trying to find an occasion or a reason to go there. Very, very nice Tea House.

I recently moved to the area and am so happy to have found this great place. I already have made reservations for the Christmas Holidays...it is beautiful.

The ambiance and decor is what did it for me. My daughters who do not really DO tea, want to go back with their friends. We enjoyed ourselves very much and do some shopping and look at all the beautiful decor with detail. Very special place.

There are many Tea Houses I have visited and in my opinion this is one of the best and most beautiful Tea Houses I have been to. I was invited for my girlfriends birthday and they not only made her feel special, but we all felt as if we were having tea in our own home....this is what I call SPECIAL and FABULOUS. The scones are terrific the decor is MAGNIFICENT, the teas great!!! I cannot complain, I love this place. I highly recommend this Tea House!
