Barbara's Victorian Teahouse and Boutique

My tea time friend and I flew 369 miles to have tea at this Victorian Tea Room and we are so pleased we did! This historical home was decked out for the holidays in grand Victorian style! The loose tea selection was extensive and we enjoyed our we were offered as many selections as we wanted during our stay! We had Queen Barbara's Tea, which included a wonderful homemade soup, delicate homemade quiche, fresh fruit salad, yummy homemade scone with mock Devonshire Creme, preserves and lemon curd, three assorted tea sandwiches, followed by a homemade lemon bar, huge chocolate dipped strawberry, and a petit four. Every guest was given a lovely holiday gift and those of us having the Queen's Tea were also given an additional gift! Barbara and her daughters were gracious hostesses, photographers, and servers during our stay! I rank this tea room among the best I've ever enjoyed and look forward to returning on our next trip to Palm Springs!

We celebrated an early Christmas Party this weekend and everyone was so impressed, happy and filled with the Christmas Spirit.

I have visited Barbara's tea house several times, this amazing historical tea house 'always' over exceeds my expectations. For several notable reasons: Barbara is the sweetest most accommodating courteous tea house owner I have ever met. My business leads me to travel all over the U.S. as well as Europe, I have yet to taste such unique tea's such as Barbara's special (little secret) blends. I have visited close to 15 tea houses & none compare to the over all experience that one receives at Barbara's tea house. She makes everyone feel so welcome!

Her scones & lemon curd are out of this world, the pastries are delicious!

Who would have imagined that this delightful tearoom existed. Well worth our drive from San Diego. The house is decorated with a beautiful Victorian flare and the entire place is filled with great music and a pleasant ambiance of ladies and gents. Highly recommended.

My friends an I came for my birthday and I had one of the best birthdays ever!! I celebrated with wonderful friends at a 'home away from home' Victorian Tea House. I really felt as if I were in my own home...lovely, lovely, lovely.

This was an amazing tea experience for my stitching group. We will definitely plan to do this more often. Everything was delicious and very satisfying.

Barbara's Victorian Teahouse was the most wonderful experience for my mother & me. The moment you enter the teahouse you feel welcomed and right at home.

We drove down from Palm Springs and by the time we got there our food was ready and the Tea was ready. We had 2 Queen's Tea and the quiche is absolutely delicious.
The sandwiches YUMMY!!!! all we can say is Thank you Barbara for your hospitality and great food.

OH and by the way they have the most amazing antiques and gifts.

we loved it so much my mother and I will be going once maybe twice a month.

We have been visiting tearooms for many years now, and we have recently found our favorite. Barbara's is a beautiful one from start to finish. The decor, food, tea, and service are one of the best we have seen in a very long time. We highly recommend this tearoom.
