My tea-snob boyfriend and I stumbled upon this tea shop through reccomendation at a fine dining restaurant... He was skeptical, and I mean skeptical- and he loved it so much, it became a tradition to visit at least twice a week! GO! You'll love it! :)

Barefoot Tea just outside of Avalon is delightful is delightful!! The shop is wonderfully cozy and soothing. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful for beginner tea aficionados. The cranberry/mint herbal iced tea was refreshing and perfect for a hot summer day. They have a lot of different concoctions to try. I’d say that it’s definitely worth the trip.

Barefoot tea will make a tea lover out of even the most ardent coffee drinker! First, try the Union tea which is a mixture of tea and coffee, but it won't take long for you to graduate to the other varieties of tea. You'll love them too! I can't believe how much flavor a cup of ice tea from Barefoot Tea has. The place is nice and cozy too. The best thing is to drink your ice tea out on the patio so you can enjoy the quaint atmosphere of the entire village.

My husband, 22 month old & I visited Barefoot Tea two weeks ago and loved it! Our favorite hot and cold is the Sunrise with a touch of the Agave sweetener. The owner is so nice and helpful and the shop is so cute. I could spend hours drinking tea, chatting with Christy & Geoff and enjoying the atmosphere both inside and out. We can't wait to return and try even more flavors!

My daughter. sisters and I visited the tea room last summer and loved it. It is a wonderful little shop with so many unique teas and a few that you could sample before buying. Christy, the owner, was so cordial and helpful. My daughter picked out a wonderful tea set and there is a very unique single serving brewer that is so easy. Be sure to make this a place to go if you are a fan of tea.

My family was so impressed with Barefoot Teahouse. After buy a home in the area last year, we found this tearoom. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth. Any questions we had, were answered and we were provided with much needed information. We are looking forward to the warm days ahead and the refreshing teas offered throughout the warm weather. Please take a moment to visit this teahouse.
