Bell Mansion Tea House - Tea, sandwiches and dessert --- absolutely fabulous. The background music is relaxing and the service has been consistently exquisite. I have made a trip to the tea house at least once a month since Christmas - a great place to unwind from a hectic job and just be with friends.

I had lunch at the Bell Mansion Tea House for the first time with 6 other ladies last Friday. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and this was the first visit for 4 of us. We had a wonderful time. The food and tea were excellent. Jay, our waiter couldn't have been more delightful, he really added to our experience and gave us terrific service. The variety on the menu was excellent and we never felt rushed. It was fun and relaxing. We all plan to come again and are spreading the word about such a wonderful place.

I have been to the Murder Mystery and Candlelight Dinner and they were both excellent. But we recently had a Little Lady Tea for my daughter's birthday party which FAR exceeded my expectations. I can't praise this place enough. The theme was ALICE IN WONDERLAND and the tables were beautifully decorated accordingly with cards, painted roses, and of course tea pots full of superb teas. We were promptly greeted at the door by the QUEEN OF HEARTS. We also added an adult table for family and guests who wished to stay for the festivities and meal. Emily and Ryan were more than accommodating for my every request. The birthday girls in elegant dresses had a fabulous time learning proper formal tea etiquette and changing fancy hats every 15 min. My husband and I have been to the Bell Mansion several times and found the ambiance, service, and food to be outstanding. Seldom do we have a dining experience that leaves us relaxed and refreshed as when we dine at Bell Mansion.This area is so fortunate to have a place that exhibits such quality to detail. We'll go as often as we can.

Our group went to the 'Titanic Tea' event. The celebration of the Titanic's 100 year anniversary was unique, and of course the food, tea, atmosphere, and service were all that we expect from the Bell Mansion Tea House. A very memorable evening. We decided to go to the Candlelight dinner for my wife's birthday. It was outstanding! The service, the atmosphere, the tour, the food, the chocolate tea and the entertainment were second to none. We will be planning another evening at the mansion in the near future. My niece made arrangements for our first time experience at Bell Mansion. We both were very pleased when we were greeted at the front door with a welcoming smile & a door wide open. After choosing just the right hat to wear, we were seated in a room that was not only beautiful, but very comfortable. After looking over the menu, which had alot to offer, our choices were great. The tea was very good, & the sandwiches were delicious. We even managed to enjoy a variety plate of deserts that were also really good.
We're both looking forward to our next visit, & will continue to spread the word about all the Bell Mansion has to offer.

I have had the pleasure of attending two Murder Mysteries with my boyfriend, a luncheon and a private Little Ladies and Gentlemen tea party with a Beatrix Potter theme. I can not say enough about the variety of services offered. The Murder Mysteries were engaging and entertaining, with a variety of tea provided in individual tea bags to experience. Much to my surprise my boyfriend enjoyed the first one so much we returned for another the very next month. The luncheon I enjoyed with my sister was calming and unhurried with a delightful pot of tea served with the most wonderful scones and cucumber and cheddar sandwiches. The Little Ladies and Gentleman tea party was AMAZING! The theme was carried out in the entire menu including the selection of teas. I had three eight year old boys and two ... (more)six year old girls and they were so well behaved and entertained due to the theme and interaction with 'Miss Emily'! The party FAR exceeded my expectations. I was then able to purchase a chamomille tea in the gift shop that I particularly enjoyed during the Beatrix Potter themed tea. I can not say enough about Bell Mansion Tea House...a wonderful experience no matter what your interests.

My first visit to the Bell Mansion Tea House was on Saturday, March 17, 2012 for my best friend's birthday. I was so impressed and enjoyed the 'pampering', the teas, the delicious salad and mint chocolate chip scones that I made a reservation for the following Saturday! Again on March 24th- nine guests in my group had the same experience of the most relaxing, non hurried fellowship with friends and family enjoying the beautifully decorated and historical Bell Mansion. The service was wonderful (thank you Emily, Ryan and Jacob) and kudos to the chef in the kitchen! We look forward to another tea in the future and will definately be attending a Murder Mystery soon! Shame on me for living in Bellwood and having this unique place to enjoy and not visiting the Bell Mansion Tea House sooner- I would recommend this experience to everyone!

My sister and I took our mom there for her birthday and we all had a wonderful time! The atmosphere, food and service were all excellent. We are already planning to come back again!

This was my first Tea House Luncheon experience. The atmosphere was cozy yet refined. I was delighted to find the staff in period dress. The servers led our group through our first tea with warmth and tact. The Cranberry Spinach Salad with Chicken was tender and fresh, the scones light and sweet. I'll be back for more!

We recently attended the murder mystery night and had a wonderful time. Atmosphere, presentation, characters, etc. was all done very well. Anticipate putting together a group for lunch in the near future based on the fact tht we had such a great time and hope to encourage others to check you out.

My wife and I attended one of their murder mysteries tonight and had a fantastic time. Everything about the evening was perfect. Great tea, great food ,terrific service and a wonderful performance.

The kindness to the guests by the family owning the mansion is superb. My friends and I spent an enjoyable time sharing delicious tea and lunch in the wonderfully appointed Victorian home. It was all so relaxing. The gift shop was fun, too, even with some regionally made items.

From the time you walk through the doors that are opened for you, you feel like you are the onlytable there! You feel as though you steeped back in time. They are so pleasent and you can tell they really enjoy thier work! Ryan & Emily and the rest of the front of the house staff make you feel right at home. As far as Debbie & Doug, the people behind the scenes, thier food is divine... If I can take my nine year old daughter in there and she enjoy herself, you know they are doing something right! I've visited here many times. Each time I try to bring some new guests with me. The teas and surroundings are wonderful. The food quality is always very good and the service is great! Very relaxing, I Love It.

If you want to be pampered in the ambience of days-gone-by, the Bell Mansion Tea House is the place to go! With an elegant, yet relaxing atmosphere, you will feel special when treated to the costumes of the severs as well as the treats you will sample. Particularly entertaining are the monthly Murder Mysteries the tea house offers, which are great fun and get the audience involved also. This is truly a one-of-a-kind place to treat yourself and a special friend to which offers many amenities hidden behind its Victorian-inspired doors!

I went there with some friends and had a marvelous time wearing the hats and taking pictures. The meal and atmosphere were excellent.

My brother, sisters and I along with our spouses enjoyed a Christmas Candlelight Dinner at the Mansion this past December. From the moment you stepped into the Mansion, you were treated like royalty. The atmosphere of the Mansion at Christmas time was breathtaking and the candle lit room was romantic. But the best part was the meal. From the soup through the dessert all were beautifully presented and delicious. The attention to detail was evident and the service was outstanding. We all felt quite relaxed and pampered. Even the men enjoyed it. Not mnay tea houses appeal to the men but this one does. The Candlelight Dinner is a perfect night out for a group of diners who want excellent food and service along with great atmosphere. We also enjoy the parlor luncheons and are about to take in a Murder Mystery. Such a great place and addition in our community.

Wow, where do I begin? The Bell Mansion Tea House is such a lovely place to dine. I've been there three times and each visit has been such a wonderful experience. I just took a friend there to celebrate her birthday and it was the perfect choice and we had an amazing time. The Valentine Tea was delightful with it's chocolate, cherry flavor. YUM! The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing. The staff and proprietors are friendly, welcoming and professional and the food is delicious. Visiting the Bell Mansion Tea House is truly a wonderful experience from the moment you walk in the door until the time you leave. If you have an opportunity, go to one of their Murder Mysteries. The Bell Mansion is my favorite place to go! My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful nutcracker tea at Christmas where she got to dress like a ballerina and meet the cast of the nutcracker all dressed in costume, such a one of a kind experience! And then on new years eve my 2 boys and i enjoyed a hilarious murder mystery. If you have never never been to one you must go, they are so much fun my boys could not stop laughing! I have been to many events at the tea house and they were all amazing, I feel so lucky to have such a treasure so close to my home. I only wish I could go more often. Thank you Deckers for giving our little town such a warm, welcoming, fun and beautiful place to go! You are special!!

I fell in love with the Tea House right after I walked inside. The atmosphere was amazing! The service, food, and (most importantly) tea were all amazing as well. This is my new favorite place in PA and I can't wait to get back.

Highly recommend!!! Had the chance to try a delicious sweet potato pie tea, cheddar/broc. soup, quiche and salad. Service was so warm and welcoming, and we were answered many questions about the interesting history of the establishment. Loved having fun hats to wear for our 'tea party' with friends, touring the rooms and visiting the gift shop. Hope to return soon!

This was beyond my wildest imagination! The Bell Mansion is beautifully restored and as the charming doorman greets you with polished chivalry, you truly feel as if you stepped back in time. From A to Z, from top to bottom, this place is spectacular! I ate so much due to the fact that everything sounded tempting and I must say, everything was as mouth-watering as it read on the menu. The scones, the sandwiches and OH THOSE CHEDDAR BISCUITS! They are worth the drive alone, trust me. If all the above isn't enough, the matriarch who runs the giftshop is a hoot! She's helpful and loves to chat with each and every customer. You might have frequented many Tea Houses, but you haven't been to the quintessential Tea House until you stop by Bell Mansion. It is a breathtaking experience from the moment you walk in until you drive away. Take my word for it!

This was a great place to take my friend for her birthday! We are both tea lovers. The food was great and the atmosphere transported us back in time. The service was excellent and talking to one of the owners about it's history was an added treat.

My friends hosted my baby shower at the Bell Mansion Tea House and it was such a delightful event. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and the guests loved choosing a hat to wear from the extensive collection. The tea and food were excellent and the service was top-notch. Our 3 generations of girls had a fantastic time. My 7-year old daughter and I were home from NC and visited with my mother. The Bell Mansion will be on our 'must see' list from now on. The chicken salad was our particular favorite. I had a cup of the chicken and wild rice soup. It was so flavorful. (Heard the group at the next table raving about it, as well!) The scones were perfect - not too heavy as sometimes happens.
It's a treat to be in the original mansion and they have done an outstanding job of decorating. Every room and every nook and cranny has something to delight the eyes!

If you have not had the opportunity to go the Bell Mansion Tea House, then you must make a point of going! It is elegant...and relaxing. The decor is so lovely!! One can only imagine all the thought and work that has clearly gone into this beautiful place. From the moment you are met at the door right up to the time you depart you have the feeling of being well taken care of. The staff is professional...and at the same time very friendly...making one feel quite at home. The food, delicious. Tea selection...a large variety from which you will find one to call your very own favorite! I can not wait to return!!!

I accidentally came upon the web site for the tea room and couldn't wait to go there. I live over an hour away at the far end of Centre Co. but have been there 4x and am looking for any excuse to go again. Beautiful setting, great selections of food and tea. Christmas decorations are absolutely breathtaking.

This wasn't my first time at the Bell Mansion Tea House, but it was my first time during the Christmas season and it didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is always wonderful but never more so than with their lovely Christmas decorations. That in itself is worth the experience.

The Bell Mansion Tea House is AMAZING!! They are very gracious and professional. I promise you will leave there feeling pampered. The historic atmosphere is so relaxing. Although last night was my third time to visit Bell Mansion Tea House, I was again pleasantly surprised by the service, historical ambiance, and lovely Royal Tea. Good quality never grows stale. I am looking forward to the Dickens' Christmas Tea.

Had a great time in the Tea Room. Especially enjoyed the sandwiches and scones! The decor is absolutely lovely and the service was wonderful. I enjoyed the gift shop and bought gift items as well as items for myself. What a fun experience!

What a lovely atmosphere! I'm so glad that Emily and Ryan and their family have restored this property so beautifully. Especially when I saw the photos of what it looked like before. I brought my Mom, and the next week I brought my sister-in-law. This week a group of ladies from my church is going. You'll love it!

I just enjoyed a truly enjoyable and very relaxing visit to the Bellwood Teahouse. Having never experienced a tea house before, I was a tad apprehensive, but Emily and Ryan were perfect hosts and I felt at ease immediately. The atmosphere is amazing and the decor and furnishings are first class. Emily, Ryan and their families are truly blessed with God-given talents and they are putting them to good use. The tea is some of the best I've tasted and the salads and tea sandwiches are absolutely delicious. The fancy hats were a bonus. I haven't worn a hat for years, but I did today. The gift shop has some really nice items and all are reasonably priced; a Christmas shopping experience awaits the guests. I'm looking forward to returning soon ~ with Barb Wible, my daughter, Bethany, and hopefully other friends.

This was my first visit to the tea house and it was absolutely divine! The tea was wonderful and the food a perfect compliment. This is some of the best white tea I've ever had. I honestly had no idea what to expect, having been to a few places that called themselves 'tea houses', but really weren't. Bell Mansion exceeded all of my expectations! The hats were exquisite and the atmosphere was just perfect! Everyone on staff was extremely friendly and helpful. More so, they were also polite - a rarity even in fine dining establishments these days. The proprietors love what they do and it shows. I can't wait to go back and bring my friends! It was, quite literally, the perfect experience.

My first visit was for a friend's baby shower yesterday. Everyone enjoyed the hats! I was very impressed with what the owners have done with this property. It's beautifully decorated. The furnishings, china, and silver take you back in time and help to set the mood for feeling pampered and special, which is how the staff (in their period costumes) treat their guests. There is even a nice gift shop. I collected the literature and hope to return with friends and family.

Last Saturday evening, my husband Marty and I went to the Bell Mansion Tearoom to see a production of a Murder Mystery entitled 'Next of Kin', and to enjoy a dessert sampling. We were met at the entrance by Ryan, our host who immediately made us feel welcomed. What followed was one of the most magical and entertaining evenings in all of Blair County. The mystery was a story about Big Daddy Sugar Baker's 100th birhday party and the guest included all kinds of wacky and dysfunctional relatives, with all kinds of problem...and they were all liars! There was Rhett (superb) and Scarlett, Melanie and Ashley, Philly, Savannah, Bobby Jo the male nures, and of course, the family liar-I mean lawyer. We were seated in a very beautiful and opulent room with intimate tables adorned with Bone China ... (more)and velvet backed chairs. The chandeliers dazzled and the talent overwhelmed. The dessert sampling was delicious...fresh pastries and Devonshire cream, fruits and teas of all kind..If you are looking for a truly wonderful evening out, a bit of whimsy and comfort, then you must visit the teahouse. The laughter was non-stop. It was our first visit, but it will not be our last...The love and care the owners put in to making this evening so wonderful is outstanding..LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!!

The food was wonderful and the ambiance was truly beautiful. We have been to the tea cafe and the murder mysteries since then and we can't say enough about the friendly people and the great selection of teas and tasty food! When we want to step out of our hectic lives for a few hours and enjoy some quality time together, we always look to the Bell Mansion Tea House.

I visited the Bellwood Mansion Tea House for the first time this weekend, and the experience far exceeded my expectations. The mansion and various tea rooms within are exquisitely decorated in true victorian style. The service, starting with the impeccably dressed gentleman who seated us to the young lady who served our tea and savories was superb. Speaking of the tea and savories, they were absolutely delicious. This is one of Bellwood's best kept secrets and a place I would highly recommend. Can't wait to return!

My visit to the Bell Mansion Tea Room was wonderful! The Mansion is gorgeous. They have done a spectacular job of restoring, decorating, and perserving the mansion. The service was unbelievable. It was wonderful being greeted at the door by such a sophisticated gentleman. The lovely woman who served us took great care of us. I can't wait to go back for another tea. I also want to try one of the murder mystery dinners and the candlelight dinners.

I recently dined at the Bell Mansion with friends, one of which was celebrating a birthday. It was our first visit to the mansion and what a great time we had! The interior design is magnificent, the service was outstanding and the food was uniquely presented and extremely tasty. We all loved the presentation of the food and the 'Happy Birthday cake' in the lovely china teacup. We will return to this place in the future to have candlelight dinners and plan on participating in a murder mystery dinner. What a great idea for fun! I can't say enough good about our experience; thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

My sister and I enjoyed the tea and the atmosphere. The service was excellent. The sandwiches and desserts were wonderful. I would like to have had loose tea but the quality of the tea was very good.

Came with our pastor and ladies group. Loved authenic-to-period costumes, the hand-sewn and again to-period-designed hats, even the lush drsperies as well as ceramic tea pots on the ledge of the atrium windows over each doorway. Just some of the many ~special~ touches for eye and tastebuds to delight. That homemade poppy seed dressing on Spinach, strawberry, almond salad with marinaded chicken strips Wha-la! (pinched fingers raised to the air and left go) Lastly, aroma of that cinnamon tea! Awwww! Will I be back? OH YES!

A friend and I visited Bell Mansion last week for her birthday and we had a great time! We enjoyed looking at the decor in all the rooms and the tea and food was wonderful. We are looking forward to returning and to visiting the gift shop when that opens.

Attended a full high tea for a bride-to-be; excellent service, food was delicious (started and ended with dessert, soup, scones, sandwiches, lots of tea), and we all had a very good time.

I was so impressed with the murder mystery that we attended tonight. It was an excellent production!!!!!!The actors are super and the interaction with the audience was great. The whole performance was first class. I enjoyed how they greeted you at the door and started right into the theme of things. It was SO much fun and I will defintely recommend it to others. The desserts were delicious. Thanks again for a great and enjoyable evening. Something unique and different.

From the moment that one of the hosts opens the door, you know that you are truly in for a delightful treat. It was not at all what I expected.

The Bell Mansion has been very quaintly and beautifully restored in the Victorian style, and offers a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The luncheon menu includes both sweets and savory tea sandwiches as well as a selection of salads. The tea selection includes many variety of teas incluing black, white, green, red and herbals. All teas are available by the cup or by the pot.

The Earl Gray is an especially nice blend with true citrus notes perfectly balanced with the bergamot - neither overpowering the other, and neither leaving a bitter aftertaste.

Tea sandwiches were neatly presented, and the chicken salad with almonds was especially pleasing.

I am looking forward to the candle light dinner and murdery mystery nights!

A very special friend took me here for a small celebration of my birthday and most important our friendship. We had a wonderful time, very relaxed, wonderful food, the tea both hot and cold were delightful. We were making our list of other friends that we want to treat to such a special afternoon. We are also planning to enjoy a candlelight dinner with our guys and think a murder mystery evening will be fun. Thank you for providing such a special step back in time for us. I have been to Bell Mansion several times and try to take someone new with me each time to enjoy the wonderful lunch/tea experience. My husband and I have also enjoyed a candle light dinner too. All the little touches make this tearoom so special. Thank-you,

My friend and I visited the Bell Mansion Tea House on Friday, July 29th, 2011. We were greeted by a nice gentleman who seated us It was as if we had stepped back in time. Then a lovely lady waited on us. Both were very informative about the history and the menu selections. The food was delicious and the tea was especially good. I am planning to return with many more friends to experience your establishment. Thank you for a wonderful experience. See you soon!

My daughter and I surprised my sister and her husband by taking them to your tea house for lunch. We were warmly greeted by Ryan at the door and he was also our friendly server. He made us feel very welcome and invited us to look around . We had fun trying on the hats and taking pictures . The food was very good and nicely displayed. We especially loved the chicken salad sandwhiches and the bread it was on was wonderful. We definitely plan to come back. Emily also greeted us and told us a little history about their beautiful Tea House. Very neat and clean warm and friendly atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit.

We had a great time at our tea this past Sat. My mother-in-law thoroughly enjoyed this special place we went to in honor of her birthday. The food was delicious and atmosphere was authentic. Emily was a wonderful hostess and gave us hints for tea, history, etc. We all had a wonderful TEA!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at the Tea House, certainly beyond what we expected. The ambiance, quality of food, tea selection, and the careful attention to every detail was most impressive. Already we are planning a return visit within the next few weeks. My friend and I were celebrating our friendship of over 50 yrs and the Bell Mansion contributed to yet another memory for our life time album.

The setting is so well done. From the moment you are greeted by a person in period costume, to throughout the entire experience, it was a lovely setting I shared with a group of close friends. The table appointments were so special and made one feel so pampered. This is a nice place to not only enjoy the tea and food, but to linger and share moments with people without rushing.

I enjoyed my experience so much! I went for a 'ladies lunch out' and was beyond impressed with our time at the Bell Mansion. I was immediately greeted and then put in a fun mood with the beautiful selection of period hats to wear, if one chooses to do so. The decor was perfection, along with the dress of our hosts. I was blown away with the beautiful tea presentation and the super yummy food, especially the quiche! Everyone should try this unique and special place!

We had a wonderful experience at the Bell Mansion Tea House. The atmosphere was historic, inviting, relaxing, and romantic all rolled into one. The food was excellent. Service was superb. And the tea selection was vast. The tea that we chose was excellent and prepared to perfection. What a wonderful night out. We will definitely visit again!

My grandmother and I share a birthday and we wanted to do something special. A relative told us about Bell Mansion, and since we have a mutual love of tea and tiny sandwiches, we were very excited. The mansion itself is gorgeous from the outside. From the moment we walked up to the door, we were taken care of. The door was held for us (only place that has ever done that for me), we were offered fun hats and guided through the menu. The service was prompt and cheerful, the portions were perfect and the food was DELICIOUS. The proprietor even gave us a free dessert for our birthday. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back.

My mother and I were so impressed with the quality of service, food and decor at the Bell Mansion Tea House this afternoon! I was so impressed. The spinich and strawberry salad was the best and I can't get over how awesome the chicken salad was! My mother and I went to check out the place, as we are having my bridal shower there in September. I am even more excited now that I have experienced the place. It is going to be perfect!

We had an absolutely wonderful time this afternoon at the Bell Mansion Tea House! There were many teas to choose from and we look forward to coming back and trying others. The food was delicious! We chose the pecan crusted chicken salad tea sandwiches. They were absolutely wonderful! We really enjoyed the scones with the Devonshire Cream and preserves. The special service could not be duplicated anywhere else. It was a special day for my daughter and I, and the peaceful atmosphere in this beautifully restored mansion made it perfect. We are already planning our next visit!

The Bell Mansion Tea House in Bellwood, PA is probably the BEST tea house I have ever been to! It is everything you would imagine a tea house in a beautifully restored mansion would be - elegant, yet very homelike and comfortable, great atmosphere and history, beautifully decorated, a very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and, oh, did I mention the tea, scones and desserts?? YUM! It is my tea house dream come true and I can't wait to go again, and again, and again....

Sweet herbal tea and a gluten-free menu besides. I was in tea-house ecstasy!!! Then you look around and see the decor and you feel like you've stepped through the looking glass into another world. The service was marvelous! Emily and Ryan are so gentile and warm. Your every need is addressed beyond all expectations. I HIGHLY recommend that you make the effort to visit because you will leave feeling refreshed and at peace with the world. I know I will return often and introduce as many friends as possible to the experience.

AHHHHH....The Bell Mansion Tea House, 'How do I love thee?' In ways too numerous to count!!! Visiting the Tea cafe for my very first time today was an absolute delight!!! Such a stunningly beautiful,& relaxing Victorian atmosphere (the artistry of the decor is a must to be seen!) add in the soft & pleasant background music & it seemingly transports you gently into simply the most peaceful & perfect place in which to spend Tea time with friends,family & loved one's of all ages..The tea selections were nicely varied --truly a tea lover's delight --what ever your little heart might fancy - surely a selection was to be found, from white, to green teas, even african teas--as well as many lovely old favorites like Earl Grey -all so elegantly served, with tender loving care and attenion to detai...
