Belladonna Gift Boutique and Tea room is located in a renovated '1954 Storybook Home' painted in true Victorian Flair with purple, yellow and teal. Your experience actually begins with the fragrance of roses along the walk-way while discovering the teapot shaped cut-outs in the concrete. First time visitors always catch their breath with surprise at the whimsical decor and enchanting aromas. The most delightful statement made was 'Oh my Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore'. Our gift boutique is overflowing with jewelry, victoriana, florals, shabby chic, hankies, gloves, tea sets, fine bone china and all the accessories to set the perfect tea table. We offer many 20% - 50% weekly discounts.
Our Belladonna Tea Room has over 100 premium loose leaf teas to choose from (creme brulee, chocolate raspberry truffle and coconut creme with kiwi and strawberry). We offer scones 'to live for', assorted tea sandwiches, salads, soups and desserts. Our soothing inspirational music, fine china, linens, hats and the special pampering received in our tea room set the Belladonna Experience apart. Food: Our experience was exactly like all the other reviews on this web site. It's hard to imagine what to expect from this quaint shop in the high dessert. As we drove 2 hours from Anaheim just to see why they were rated #1. The moment we walked in the front door we caught our breath with surprise at the vintage sparkles and delights everywhere in the boutique. It is filled with everything 'tea' and more. Vintage dress forms covered in jewelry at very reasonable prices, purses, a 'Paris themed corner', embroidered hankies, books, teas, scones mixes and tea treats. Food: The most enjoyable tea time we have ever had. This is a charming quaint A-frame house that has been turned into everything feminine. A step back into time, even the powder room is a delight. The food was fabulous and the scones were to die for - and I thought my scones were good but they beat mine by miles. Their version of devonshire cream was delicious and the imported raspberry preserves were the perfect match. The sandwiches and desserts were just as fabulous and their presentation were worth us taking pictures of everything. If you have not tried this tea room yet, you must. You will be pampered and treated to a most wonderful experience. |

I felt the presence of the Lord as soon as I met you; you truly have a sweet spirit. It was truly a blessing to have met you and taken tea in your establishment. I highly recommend that if you are in California that you take the drive to visit this tea house. I live in NJ and was in Aneheim on business. I took the 2 1/2 hrs drive (with traffic) to experience the taking of tea at this establishment and I would do over and over and over again. Food: This tea room is the most relaxing and welcoming place we have ever been to. It is like stepping back in time to a quieter, slower pace of life. We had the best time picking out hats to wear and the staff was so accomodating in taking pictures with all our cameras. The teas, scones, sandwiches, salad (and the yummy dressing they make) were delicious. Then the desserts came out and they were too cute to eat, but we did. We were so delightfully satisfied our husbands will have to have dinner alone tonight. The gift shop is an experience all in its own too. We spent an hour just discovering the treasures everywhere. My niece is starting HS so I took her and her mom to Belladonna's to experience something new. we have the time of our life. We all dressed in red shirts and wore the beautiful hats available to us. Food: Where do I start? My mother was the first English War-Bride to come to the states in 1948. I have 35 first cousins in England and 15 aunts/uncles scattered from London to the upper Englands steel towns. For most of my life I made my mother's 'cup o' tea' and ate my aunts scones so I think I have a pretty good idea of English culture. I visit Palmdale from Michigan and everytime I visit we come to your shop. Your teacup/plate holders hang in my kitchen, and I have many of your darling little spoons, as well as some jewelry. The atmosphere is so quaint and friendly that you just never want to leave. The service is very personable and the food is delicous and served in courses - we took photos of each one. It was worth the drive from Torrance (drive time took 1 hr 40 minutes on a non-holiday weekend Saturday) and we are looking forward to visiting again. The atmosphere is a welcoming, whimsical mix of tea-related, vintage, and floral items. Loved the creative use of upside-down chairs to house the speakers. I was on a tight time frame so I was only able to have the dessert tea. What a wonderful idea - going straight to dessert! Food: What an experience ! ! ! We took our mother to Belladonna's for Mother's Day. We had never been tehre and had no idea what to expect. We read all the reviews here, but still had no idea. Not only was the food absolutely exceptional, very well presented and served with the most loving touches.... They gave each of us a red rose tied with a gold/burgandy bow and a poem - that they told us to read later with a tissue near by. Our mother was amazingly proud of us and felt so honored. Dearest Lindsay,I am so very confused. I called you today to say that we WOULD NOT CHARGE YOU for your NO SHOW ON YOUR RESERVATION. And, that you would be most welcome as a walk-in, but we would not be able to make future reservations for you. You said you had been planning this outing for a very long time. We did nothing to hinder your outing. We KEPT OUR AGREEMENT WITH YOU and turned people away all week long holding your table for you. When your plans changed on Thursday and we could not meet your demands on Saturday morning - YOU STOOD US UP. Most business would have just charged the credit card you guaranteed your reservation with. Especially when you were informed at the time of the reservation that Saturdays require one week notice for changes/cancellations. We are a small tea room with only 7 tables. We lost revenue because your plans changed - WE DID NOT CHARGE YOU FOR OUR LOSS - and you are angry with us ? ? ? ? ?
