Food: I enjoy every visit to Buttercream. It is a small cafe and bakery that bakes excellent scones, croissants also a variety of great desserts from scratch. I especially love their delicious lavender shortbread cookies and their Scharffenberger mini chocolate cakes and their strawberry cream cake. Have yet to try their fresh peach cake that they just brought out. They also have a selection of 16 teas to choose from. The cafe is neat, clean and welcoming and their employees are warm and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. It is as if a neighbor is setting out a relaxing tea complete with sandwiches, scones and dessert in front of you. The table is set with tablecloths and an variety of china cups and teapots. You can choose to enjoy high tea or just sit down with a pot of tea and a scone or cookie. You'll come away with aa smile on your face. |
