Food: My sister and I took a tearoom tour of the west coast, ending in San Diego. Cafe Chloe was our last stop and the only urban tearoom on our list. You had to make reservations for afternoon tea and hold the reservation on a credit card, but it was worth it. The atmosphere was modern. The tea selection was not extensive, but we enjoyed what we chose. My sister opted for a green tea, and I chose a black. I was also very impressed by the tea sandwiches. Wonderful creations. We'd been driving since breakfast. Stopping only a couple of times to stretch. This was such a nice,relaxing way to end the drive. |
