Recently my very large party of 23 people experienced a mix-up of our reservation at the California Cafe. Unfortunately it was the day of college graduation and they could not handle us. But, Lynn Jackson of Camellia's Sin took our entire group into her tea room and allowed the restaurant to feed us there. She was an awesome and gracious host. I will always sing her praises. Not to mention it was her birthday and she could have easily and with justification have gone home to celebrate. She did not, instead she served us and I am grateful. Thank you Lynn

My fiancee secretly planned a tea experience for myself, my future mother-in-law and sister-in-law at Camellia's Sin tea room. The atmosphere was excellent and the food very complimentary to the tea. I was slightly disapointed that we did not have a tea menu for personal selection. All guests were offered three tea choices. Our table sampled them which included house blend, raspberry tisane, and snowflake. These loose-leaf teas were very pleasant and I enjoyed the snowflake's coconut and almond hints most. We selected tea hats from the wall by the gift shop and wore them while taking tea. I especially thought this a nice touch. I will recommend Camellia's and visit again.

We all had a blast and I will always remember the fun we had. Everyone was able to loose their 'cool' attitude with the hats and they just put everyone in the mood. I will recommend them to anyone and i know i'll be back!

Camellia's Sin Tea Parlor is pure delight. Whatever the occasion, Lyn provides an atmosphere that is appropriately cozy and pleasurable. The tea never runs out and the varieties are extensive, although everyone I know chooses the 'House Tea' as their favorite. With salads, soups, scones, vegetable pastries, sandwiches, and sweets to choose from, there is always an abundance of physical nourishment. The feast is enhanced by the table settings which are a wonderful mixture of lovely styles and colors - all contributing to the overall feeling of having been invited to a friend's home for a relaxing afternoon visit. The visit is never long enough.

I just attended the Mystery Tea on February 3rd, and wanted to extend my thanks to my hosts and the lovely 'suspects' in the murder of the Dastardly Duke of Darjeeling! The luncheon was heartier than I expected for tea sandwiches, particularly good was the red beet soup! The house blend tea and the Green Tea with Almond were my favorites of the selection of teas offered. It's clear that the owners relish the fun and relaxation offered by the tea break- each detail is thoughtfully planned to enhance the experience. From the sensual gift shop displays to the vintage hats offered to be worn during the tea - even the hooks holding the hats are fashioned from vintage flatwear forks and spoons. The eye, the tummy and the soul are each well-nourished at Camillia's! Thanks ever so!

What a treat! I had no idea how charming this tearoom was until I actually experienced it in person. I took my friend there to celebrate her birthday. We were absolutely delighted with the service, food, and tea selections. The food was prepated with lots of thought and creativity as each course seemed to complement each other. Camellia's has the best lemon curd and scones I ever tasted! We were permitted to try as many teas as we wanted and all were delicious! I was not a tea drinker before but ended up buying Camellia's Special Blend to take home to brew. The gift shop is lovely too with many gifts to soothe the 'soul.' This is definitely a place we will visit again.

Camellia's Sin is a lovely tea room. Lynn is a very welcoming as well as knowledgeable hostess. The teas are delicious! On a recent visit for luncheon tea, two friends and I shared pots of Holiday Spice tea, the house Camellia's Sin tea, and Lemon Meringue tea with our desserts. The foods offered were each scrumptious. In particular I loved the apricot scone and the rosemary cookie, a sweet and savory treat. We enjoyed a leisurely chat over our lunch and ended up making a reservation for a return visit next month. What a terrific place!
