Came here for tea with my mother and step-father. We were charmed by the lovely served, Kaylie, who was bubbling with charm and enthusiasm. Working in hospitality, I wish I could bottle her attitude and dispense it to my staff! The food was lovely - greatly enjoyed the Italian wedding soup and lavender scone. The idea of pairing cucumber with cottage cheese and watermelon with a dash of pepper was simply outstanding. Will definitely be back!

As you enter camellias you since you are going back in time. You see hats on the wall that you may borrow to wear, lace curtains etc. Each table is set with lovely China and silver. Every tea pot has a unique tea cozy. They offer several teas brewed to the best flavor and you may choose a different flavor with each refill. The foods were delicious and presented beautifully on tiered trays. I would recommend to anyone even if you do not enjoy tea.

All Excellent!! We were there only once but be assured we are planning on coming again! My daughter and her friend plan on bringing us for a Mother's Day Tea. Also, I would like to find out about volunteering for a Fairy Tea. I've always loved acting and would like more info from you. Thanks, Diane

The food and tea was excellent, the best teahouse I have been in. The menu had Interesting soups which one was the peanut butter soup. The atmosphere was the greatest of any teahouse. If you get in the area, it is a must to try.

Where ever I travel I always visit the local tearoom. Whether I'm in Pennsylvania, Boston, South Carolina, Virgina, Washington DC, or New York City I have found none that compares to Camellia'Sin Tea Parlor in Carlisle, PA. This tea house has really spoiled me and has set my expectations high for other tea rooms. An exceptional high tea must offer soup, salad, a variety of scones, lemon curd and whey (preferably homemade)is mandatory, a pile of delectable savories, unique desserts and a variety of loose leaf black teas (preferably Snow Flake or Pineapple Upside Down), including sugar cubes served with miniature tongs. The surroundings should be Victorian with linen table clothes and napkins, beautiful patterned tea services, elegant glasses, soothing background music, and a exquisite gift shop to meander through when tea is completed. Camilla Sin offers a superb high tea experience and I am always eager to return.

We just had my daughter's bridal shower at the tea room and Lin and staff were so wonderful. They all went above and beyond to make our guests feel special. They took into account dietary needs and personalized the experience by honoring our requests.
We highly recommend Camellia's for every special occasion.

Camillias is my favorite tearoom. I have been there many times. Lynn and her staff make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. The tea selection is amazing.....I have many favorites including snowflake and pineapple upside down cake. They have the most imaginative, delicious soups. My favorite is the butternut squash. The scones are out of this world, the best I've ever had. The sandwiches and desserts are just as amazing. This is one tea house you can't just go one time!!!!

Went to Camilla's today for the first time...we were not disappointed, what a wonderful tea room! There were 8 or 9 teas to choose from (and we tried 3 of them)...food was excellent, and the service top notch; cheerful, nice and so attentive! Looking forward to returning!!

I can not say enough good things about Camellia's Sin! I have been going there since shortly after it opened in Dec 2005 and now travel 2 hours by car to get there for the amazing food, tea, and great experience. The service is always excellent and the food divine! Even foods I think I may not like turn out to be delicious and devoured quickly. The tea Parlor provides a selection of hats to wear to have a fun tea time and the table settings are beautiful, with each table having a different color/theme. Each month the menu changes, but it is always delicious. Changes can be made for special diets when you call ahead for reservations. The selection of teas is fairly extensive--loose leaf tea from Harney and Sons that include traditional choices like Earl Gray and English Breakfast as well as... (more)

Can't say enough wonderful things about Camellia's Sin Tea Parlor. From the stellar service to their extensive tea selection to their delicious and abundant menu choices, everything was superb. We had 2 delicious teas, curried pumpkin soup, 3 different scones and delectable sandwiches and sweets. We were so full, we took our desserts home as well as extra scones that we were able to buy. I've been to many tea houses, and Camellia's ranks in my top 5. Well worth the trip to Carlisle, PA. They also have an excellent gift shop too.

Belladonna Red Hat Group attended tea at Camellia's earlier this week. We began our day with a bundle event where we enjoyed the salt cave at a local wellness center in the morning, (which Lyn, the owner of Camellias helped to coordinate); then to Camellias for lunch & tea. Lovely place, friendly staff. It was a brisk fall day outside so the squash soup was an immediate hit! The salad, scones, & finger sandwiches were all equally delicious. We also enjoyed a pumpkin tea in keeping with the fall theme, as well as a snowflake black tea as we thought ahead to winter. We chose an English garden tea to accompany our dessert. The atmosphere was casually elegant, the accompanying gift shop a shoppers delight! I believe each of the members in our group purchased something we could not live without. Highly recommend Camellias Sin Tea Parlor.

This was another wonderful tea experience with 13 friends. The food was delicious. Who would have thought that Afician Peanut Soup could be so good. The atmosphere is great, table setting lovely. The owner is friendly and informative. Needless to say that this is one of my favorite tea rooms.

After many years of enjoying teas for Mother's Day and other occasions, we recently had my daughter's bridal shower at Camellia's Sin, and it was truly a delightful experience. Tea selections included some old favorites as well as a new blend that was delicious! This was a perfect place for a shower - everyone got to enjoy a wonderful tea experience with delicious food as part of a memorable life event. We are hoping to return for a leisurely afternoon tea in August!

My three young granddaughters and I had a wonderful time sipping tea in our big fancy hats. Another time, my friend and I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and the excellent service. The tea was delicious and the food was out of this world! A very special place far away from the fast-food, junk-food world today.

While planning a trip to the area, we found Camellia's Sin Tea Parlor on TeaMap and made reservations. Although my husband and I arrived early, our hostess/server Kara received us graciously and seated us promptly. The many varieties of loose tea available were described and we enjoyed tasting different new choices-my husband liked 'Paris' and I really loved 'Pineapple Upside Down Cake.' Our food was beautifully presented and delicious. While allowing us our privacy, still Kara was attentive to our needs with friendly conversation. We felt like we were old friends! We have enjoyed tea at many tearooms in the United States; Camellia's Sin ranks as one of our very favorites! We will return whenever we are in the vicinity.
