Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we are open for lunch from 11am to 2pm. On Saturdays we are open form noon to 2pm for lunch and at 11am for High Tea (High Tea is by reservation only).
We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Candleberry's has become quite a popular place for lunch; therefore, we suggest (not required, but suggested) if you are coming from out of town or have a group of 6 or more, that you call ahead for reservations to insure a table.
Candleberry's is an upscale tea room/ cafe with a distinct menu that includes authentic homemade recipes, quality ingredients, and quaint presentation offered in a cozy, intimate, charming, relaxed atmosphere.
Candleberry's is well known for our incredible, unfortgettable dessert options. In fact, we have been voted 'Frankfort's Best Place for Dessert' by the People's Choice' Awards sponsored by the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce. We continue to be devoted to offering our guests the best desserts --all homemade -- around. Each day we have an offering of desserts that are sure to put a smile on your face. Additionally, we have started serving gourmet desserts (cupcakes, brownies or Sweetie Pies... not the usual fare) starting on Wednesdays and going through Friday. These cupcakes have become a huge hit with our regulars.

Our seasonal menus receive wonderful reviews from both women and men guests. The traditional tearoom fare is there, but also a lot of heartier and interesting menu choices. Choices include, but are not limited to, a Grilled Rueben sandwich, a 'Scoop Sampler', appricot almond turkey sandwich, several heartier sandwiches, some special winter-time salads, our national known Kentucky Hot Brown, and so much more. There is something for every taste and appetite. We have really focused on healthy choices for this new menu to help those who are trying to be more health-minded in the new year.

Food: This is a wonderful tea house. I wanted to do something special for my mom this Mother’s Day so we to the tea house for high tea to celebrate. This was our first visit to Candleberry Tea House and we absolutely loved it. The tea room has a warm cozy feel as you come in. There were flowers on our table and it was set with an assortment dishes containing everything you need for tea like fresh lemon, sugar cubes. The food was excellent. We had so much food we could hardly eat it all. There were 4 courses, scones, soup, sandwiches and then dessert. We each got our own pot of tea and the selection of teas is absolutely amazing. We got the blood orange and the mother’s bouquet and loved both teas. We had a great time and will definitely go back. Thank you Andy and all the staff for a very memorable trip. |

Food: I took my Mother to Candleberry Tea Room for tea and desert for Mother's Day (we actually came on the Saturday before, as the Tea Room is closed on Sunday). Candleberry's is one of her favorite get-aways. We continue to be impressed by the warm and friendly atmosphere, the variety of teas, and the quality of the deserts--especially the most delicous coconut pie. Candleberry's cocount pie is Mom's favorite and is now my favorite also. Candleberry is truely a gem to be enjoyed. |

Food: There are not many places that I drive an hour to get to and then come away thinking that the drive was definitely worth it and that I will be back soon. Some friends of mine talked me into joining them on a trip to Frankfort and a stop at your tea room. Wow, what a great place!
