Candleberry’s is an upscale tea room/ dining establishment with a distinct menu that includes authentic homemade recipes, quality ingredients, and quaint presentation offered in a cozy, intimate, charming, relaxed atmosphere. While all our food is high quality and made fresh, we are well known for our desserts. We have a variety of fresh made desserts each day, including many made from vintage reciepes.
We have a full range of our own blend of soups, prepared sandwiches, salads, Kentucky Hot Browns (our own unique sauce), quiches, muffins, fresh baked cakes and pies, and special gourmet desserts (such as our bread pudding with a bourbon sauce).

****A SPECIAL HONOR WAS BESTOWED UPON US on April 16, 2008. The crew of the UUS Kentucky Trident Submarine is touring through Kentucky visiting schools, the Capitol and the Derby telling people about the Submarine's mission. They were told that when in Frankfort stop by for our Kentucky Hot Brown. Even though we were closed (they arrived unannounced at 5:00pm), we opened our doors in order to serve them dinner. We are proud and excited to visit with the crew and to offer our little bit of Kentucky Tea Room Hospitality. We thank them for their service to our nation!

Had lunch a couple of days ago at the tearoom with some ladies from the office. We all enjoyed the food very much and the service was great. Also, everyone had dessert and we all sampled from each other - great desserts, outstanding pie crust. I do highly recommend Candleberry Tearoom.

Very good place to eat. I had a KY Hot Brown and it was great. I also had Bumbleberry Pie. Top notch. I would recommend this as a great place to eat.

The group I work with took a co-worker to the Candleberry Tea Room for her birthday luncheon and everything was so cozy and charming. And the food was absolutely delicious, especially the homemade Coconut Cream Pie! A real treat.

Today we took a group of 8 to Candleberry. We all had a very good meal and delicious dessert.

Looks like a great place for a wedding dinner or a babby shower. Easy to get to... and a unique gift shop attached!
