I take my mom on a mother/daughter outing once a month, so decided to take her here for tea. We did the full 'queens tea' i believe it was, that included salad or soup, the sandwiches, tea, scones, etc. The tea was great, I really enjoyed it, but the food was very lacking. The salad was very basic, the sandwiches were bland, and the scones and desserts tasted boxes or frozen or something. The atmosphere was adorable and the service was fantastic, but I paid maybe $80 or $90 for her and I for this and we both left rather disappointed. They have a great little gift shop though, we wandered around that for a little while, prices are rather high, however. I have taken her to the Phoenician for tea in the Phoenix area, and that tea was outstanding, I recommend it highly if you are out that way.

I agree with all the previous reviewers..Chantilly is a wonderful 'girly' experience with fabulous food and drink. This being said, when you reserve, be aware that they do accommodate large groups (Red Hatters, etc.) in the back room, usually, and you don't want to be sitting back there as it gets very loud with all the women talking, etc. So, if you are looking for a quiet and enjoyable tea time, I suggest requesting the main room; also make your reservation for a weekday if possible...Saturdays can be very loud and busy.

We stopped by in April as we were passing through the area. We didn't have reservations, but they were able to accomodate us with a nice selection of scones and tea. Beautiful victorian decor and a nice gift area too! Our server was delightful and full of information about the area. I hope we can come back some day! :)
