Chocolate Angel

For me the Chocolate Angel was not a tea house.

The décor was so wonderful that I knew this was the tea house to go to while I was in Dallas, I regret this mistake so much.

It was a busy day, but I felt completely ignored by my waiter. I had to wait well over 10 minutes for him to take my food and even longer for him to bring the check. I got the vegetarian sandwich which was okay. The menu didn’t offer anything super unique.

The tea for me, however, was the thing that was the worst. I was first given a box of all bagged Tazo tea (which stayed on my table for the rest of my meal.) What kind of “tea house” can served such low quality bagged tea is beyond me. After picking my dust in a tea bag I was given what to me looked like a creamer container. The “teapot” h... (more)ad no lid. I watch all the steam come out and wonder if maybe my waiter forget to bring the lid.

I went for lunch, so maybe the afternoon tea is different, but really this a teahouse for people that don’t know good tea. If you’re looking for ideas on how to design your home this is place for you, but if you want some good quality tea stay at home because you probably have better tea in your cabinet than what is offered here.
