Variety: My daughter & I always enjoyed a 'mommy and me tea time there'. I certainly hope they are not gone for good. We were just saying the other day that we still need to get advice on how to make a proper pot! Beth and Bridget |

Variety: I am so disappointed that Churchill's has closed. I used to take my granddaughters there once or twice a year, and the servers always remembered them and welcomed them like family. The tea was exceptional, and the food very good. I do hope that Churchill's reopens in downtown Cincinnati. |

Tearoom Response
Mary, thank you so much for your comments. We always love seeing you and your granddaughters! Although we have decided to close our 4th Street location, we are looking to open another location in the fall. We will keep you posted and hope to see you soon. In the meantime you can still order your favorite teas and products by calling 513-421-1455 or by visiting www.ChurchillsGifts.com. Thanks!

Variety: So glad this place is closed. It's an excellent example of how NOT to run a business. Everything there was sacrificed at the owner's discretion- quality of the food, how guests were treated, and how the employees were treated. I would not reccomend this tea room to anyone, even if it was still open. |

Variety: I went with a Red Hat group to this tea and was very disappointed. The roast beef had one very thin slice on a and the cucumber sandwich did not even have fresh dill. I would not recommend this tea to others. |

Variety: Everyone at the table ordered a different personal-sized pot, and we did a little passing around to taste the different ones. I ordered the Windsor Blend, which was delicious, so I bought a bag to take home with me and am still enjoying it. Before coming, we had a snack because we didn't think that the afternoon tea would be filling enough. Big mistake! It didn't even look that filling when it arrived, but it was quite enough for a meal and we had to roll ourselves out of there! The location takes a little of the allure away, because it's hard to forget that you're in a mall, despite the cozy atmosphere within the tea shop. |
