Food: Clara J's tea room is in a historic home. The setting is victorian. She serves loose leaf tea in teapots and offers many menu options. We have tried soups, sandwiches, scones and sweets. Afternoon tea is offered, with reservations. The atmosphere is very relaxing. A great place to meet a friend for lunch/afternoon tea or relax alone with a good book. Reservations are not required, although we usually give her a call when we are on our way and she always has a table ready for us. She also has a wonderful selection in her gift shop. |
