I love Crumpets! Just go once and you'll find yourself a repeat offender. I went on Halloween and their were cute little decorations everywhere. A pumpkin for each table and witches everywhere! There was even Halloween music playing! And I've been there over a dozen times, even when their isn't a holiday. The combination of great food, service, ambiance, and of course tea makes crumpets the greatest tea room I've ever been to. Telling by the pictures in the adorable gift shop, its also great for parties. I'd suggest by the smiles on the little girls photographed faces, to bring your daughter of any age to crumpets tea room. <3

I'm definitely coming back to Crumpets. I went with my family and we all agreed that Crumpets had the greatest, and most relaxing atmosphere by far. With a friendly staff and a short wait for the delicious food and tea, my brother, sister, father and I had a fabulous lunch. My ten year old brother even commented, 'This is the yummiest ham sandwich ever!' And it was. The food is made fresh to order, and there is every tea I've ever wanted on the menu. I defiantly suggest going to Crumpets, you wont be let down. :)

Crumpets Tea Room is a notable restaurant. The Staff is warm and welcoming. There is a wonderful selection of tea, and the gift shop is absoltely darling. Crumpets has a relaxing, comfortable environment ideal for small social gatherings. The food was positively delectable. Crumpets Tea Room is by far the best tea room I have been too. I plan on coming back soon.

Such a delightful visit to your tearoom with my sister who has been there many times. Since I live on the South Shore it was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised. Nothing could have been improved upon. Will certainly visit you again. Thank you for giving me the Teamap info. I look forward to visiting other tearooms on the South Shore til I get up your way again. Thank you.

Crumpets is the best. After meeting up with a former classmate, we went to Crumpets Tea Room and were so pleased with the service, food quality, etc. We plan to revisit in the near future.

My sister and I went to tea here today have been trying to get there for 2 years. Now I can't wait to go back. We both had the dutchess of bedford tea. There were 6 selections of sandwiches each one better than the last. Turkey, stuffing and cranberry was out favorite. They had a variety of scones to choose from. We had pumpkin and Berry Berry. Both were delicious and fresh. The variety of deserts was fabulous. There is plenty of teas to choose from. We had a wonderful time and will go back. We met the owner and she was a delight. Keep up the good work.

From the moment we walked in on a rainy day, the Crumpets was warm and welcoming. The food was wonderful and plentiful. Receiving an education on tea was enlightening. The servers were extremly helpful and happy to have us. A must for any day- not just a rainy one!!

Delightful! From our warm greeting to our good byes (and good buys in the gift shop)There was genuine joy & comfort in this lovely tea room. A gentle atmosphere provided by both ladies who extended cheery hearts. Of course I'll need to share my experience with more of my friends so I'm planning to return. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

We have had afternoon tea all over the world, and we would rate Crumpets as one of our top five (fyi, the others are, in no particular order, Fortnum and Mason in London, Fairmont Princess in Bermuda, Mole's Whimsical Teas, in PEI, Grand Floridian at Disney World).

Atmosphere: lovely, classic tea room, but not overstuffed or cluttered or too fussy.
Service: always attentive and never rushed.
Tea: hot, properly prepared, attractive tea cosy.
Food: Perfect, and very good value for the money: $19 for tea, warm medium-size yummy scone (the apricot is really good), 6 mini-sandwiches (tuna salad, egg salad, chicken salad, ham salad, cuke &cream cheese, turkey w/cranmayo, all terrific), some fruit (strawberry, pineapple, cherry), and a top tier of desserts (mini-bundt le... I have just visited Crumpets Tea Room for the first time and will DEFINITELY return. I've been to tea rooms before; some were good and some, the service and owner not so good. I happily report that my experience here was totally delightful. The food was extraordinary. The atmosphere is friendly, cozy, warm and charming. You feel totally relaxed and taken care of. We had the Duchess high tea. I had a choc. chip strawberry scone that was delicious and huge!! The tea sandwiches were very yummy. And all the top tier desserts were equally as delicious and not skimpy at all, as I have experienced at another place. A big THUMBS up for me!! I took my Mom for Mother's day (a week early) and will return for her birthday!!!
THANK YOU!!!

I have just visited Crumpets Tea Room today for the fourth time with a few close friends and I have nothing but praise for this lovely little place.
The shop is so cozy and warm and you immediately unwind and relax with your own special pot of brewed tea. The selection of teas are endless and the wait staff is very attentive. I especially enjoy the homemade turkey sandwich and always top it off with an apricot scone.
Kudos to Crumpets for a job well done! I know I will be back.

I found Crumpets via an internet search. I was looking for a tea room to bring my daughter and two of her friends to for her 5th birthday. It was the best birthday ever! First, we went to a nail salon across the street and had the girl's nails done, then we went to Crumpet's for lunch. Everything was outstanding! The atmosphere, the presentation of food, service, everything! They even have boas and hats in the corner on a coat rack for the kids to wear if they wish. I have been back once since then, since I live a distance, and it was equally outstanding. I am glad they don't offer the tea leaf readings...just not that kind of place, thankfully. I truly question the negative feedback, and frankly don't believe it.

Don't change a thing!

Tearoom Response
I appreciate the review. I also question the negative feedback and it always seems to come from people wanting tea leaf readings. I wonder if they are tea leaf readers. I have no interest in providing that type of entertainment.

This Tea house is delightful. I ave been there 4 times with my Aunt and keeps getting better. My Aunt and I are Tea House hunters and go absolutley everywhere for tea. Though we try to keep a variety we always come back to crumpets. My younger cousin who is 7 years old came to Crumpets today to her very first tea outting. There she put on one of there hats and a boa that people of all ages can put on and enjoyed the soup scones, mini desserts, and of course the tea. Though she is growing to like tea she had a little lemonade in a teapot of corse and enjoyed that, too. This is the most elegant and delightful 5 star tea house you'd ever can go to! Oh yeah I'm 12 and had the greatest time(s) at CRUMPETS!

Thanks for a great review. You have made me feel really good to think you hunt out tea rooms with your Aunt and keep coming back to Crumpets. You have good taste. I appreciate it very much.

I very much enjoyed my lunch at this quaint tearoom. It was like traveling back in time! The homemade soup was delicious, as were the peach scones. Nancy, our server ,was delightful. The colorful tea cozies on each pot were adorable and dainty.

Crumpets is a lovely old fashioned tea room filled with an abundance of simple charm, atmosphere and all the amenities - colorful bone china cups and tea cozies with just enough assortment of choice on the luncheon/tea menu. The food was delicious. Tasty tomato Florentine soup and half sandwith of tuna salad was generous in portion but still left room for tempting desserts and/or the traditional scones. The service was warm and friendly. A little gift shop is filled with all things 'tea'. All in all a delightful afternoon. A return visit is on my calendar.

Just wanted to write this quick note to let you all know what a wonderful time 14 little girls had at Crumpets Tea House. It was my daughters 7th and 5th B-day party and they both wanted a Fancy Nancy Tea Party. Well, I called Crumpets and told them about Fancy Nancy and although they had never heard of her they were open to hearing all about her. We talked for awhile and Carol said she would get back to me the next day. She wanted to digest all the information I gave her. The next day she called me back and began to tell me how she would transform her tea house to a “Fancy Nancy Party”. Crumpets not only met, but exceeded my expectations. The whole tea house was converted into a little girls dream party. Butterflies on the drapes, linen and napkins in lilac, a treasure chest,... (more)

Thank you so much. I couldn't ask for a better review. I'm so glad that Ava and Isabelle enjoyed their party. I think Nancy and I were more excited than they were. Pictures of the party are now displayed on Crumpets Gift Shop wall and everyone loves them. Thanks again.

Wow! What a great tea room! The tastefully decorated room was lovely and only surpassed by the quality of the food. My companion commented that the turkey sandwich was the best one she had ever had. I enjoyed tremendously the assorted tea sandwiches which were fresh, delicious, and properly served. There is a wonderful selection of teas available and the desserts are to die for. Our server was well-informed, friendly, gracious, and very attentive.

my 2 sisters and I had a good lunch with nice hot tea and good variety on tea choices. the food was interesting with a nice garden fresh salad, not easy in December. It would be great if they had entertainment in the form of a tea leaf psychic reading, another tea shop in the Merrimack Valley offers this but we cannot easily get there as one sister is disabled. Please consider this, it would be great fun. Thank you. Phyllis , Jeanne and Rosemary.
