Variety: Not only was the food amazing, as was the ambiance and service. Out of all the tea rooms I have been to in the area this one has been the best. |

Variety: I agree with all the other reviews, this place was awesome, I looked on Teamap for a tea room upsate since we were going up to Beacon for the weekend. I had no idea that Beacon had a tea room. But I'm really glad it does. We spent the weekend at the Swann Inn B+B (which was great) and both Saturday and Sunday we ate at the Cup and Saucer. We had dinner with live music, some kind of open mike. Then next day lunch and tea. You might think that it was overboard to go no where else, but each time we went was like a new great experience. Thank you to all, you were very gracious and sweet. |

Variety: My wife and I took some time off and decided to have lunch at The Cup and Saucer Tea Room in Beacon. What a delightful lunch. They food was terrific. Shirly Hot, the owner and chef made you feel at home in this charming Victorian style tea room. It even has a great little gift boutique where you can buy various tea oriented gifts. If you come to Beacon, you must stop at The Cup and Saucer Tea Room. Two Thumbs Up! |

Variety: Going to this Tea Room was fate. We came to Beacon to th DIA museum and walked up to Main street where we found this place to eat. I saw the lunch special Spinach Borak which is what I'd had for lunch a couple of times when I was vacationing in Yugoslavia. This was so authentic Ifelt like I was in a little eatery by the Adriatic Sea. I can't tell you what great memories surfaced as it would take too long. Thank you for having this on the menu. I will definately be back. |

Variety: After checking out Tea Rooms on Teamap, my friends and I decided to go to the Cup & Saucer even though it was a little further than we usually travel for Tea. I am so glad we made the trip. It is as cute and inviting as it looks in the photos. We all agree with the other reviewers that the food is delightful, and definitely worth going back. We went on a Friday and would have liked to have had more time to see a little more of Beacon, the town looks so adorable with all of its quaint shops and galleries. Next time we will go for their 2nd Saturday. |

Variety: I was in Beacon just this past Saturday for 2nd Saturday. I stopped in the tea room with my friends for a nibble and was immediately overcome with the aromas wafting out of the kitchen, then my stomach reminded me I hadn't had lunch yet. So we decided to stay and eat lunch which was wonderful as were the desserts. Every one was very gracious and we will return often. |

Variety: I just wanted to thank Shirley and her staff for a wonderful time. I was at your Mid Summers Day Fairy Tea with my granddaughter. She was so excited all week and I was a little concerned that she might be disappointed if her expectations were not lived up to. The minute she walked in and she put on her fairy outfit she was in heaven. I can not say enough on how much I enjoyed watching her have such a great time. The sandwiches, and all of the food were delightful. Your fairy musician entertained us and the time seemed to just go by so quickly. I can't believe we spent over 2 1/2 hours there. The photos on the 'Fairy Throne' will be a keepsake for the both of us, again thank you so much. By the way she wears that fairy outfit all the time now. |

Tearoom Response
Thank you Anna, it was so much fun watching all the little fairies dancing and playing. I had as good a time as you and the others. I really appreciate your comments.

Variety: Had to put in a review to let people know what a great place this is. The decor and ambience is so inviting only topped by the service and food. I went to their special event called Dinema Theater it was such fun. The menu alone was so good never mind the movie which I had never heard of. Shirley the owner came out and explained that the movies she finds are ones that she remembered from England and there fore mostly unknown to us Yanks. Some of the other guests mentioned that the other movies were just as good. I can't believe the value 3 courses for $25.99 and great food. |

Variety: My family took me there for Mother's Day and I was expecting the usual crazy madness that seems to always suround eateriea on Mother's Day. I felt so welcome and the waitstaff where so efficient. You could tell they where seasoned professionals. I chose to do the brunch and started with the Potato Leek soup..delish, then I had the spinach chicken crepes..light and delicate and the Scone, out of this world. Lou had the Sauerbraten which he loved, he said it brought back memories of when he was stationed in Germany. My daughter Lela who's idea it was for us to come had the Queen Mum's Tea loaded with sandwiches cut into different shapes and little desserts that you could taste were made from scratch, and of course another great scone. It's a little bit of a hike for us to get to, but the atmosphere, service and food will bring me back again and again. |

Variety: It was a surprise for which I was not prepared. An unpretentious yet comfortable looking storefront opened up into a welcoming warmth with a surprisingly diverse yet well-planned menu. If that in and of itself were not enough, my mouth salivated and begged for more with each bite, and though I was unable to experience every item on the menu my palate begged for more. I was constantly stretching over and grabbing from my daughter's plate in my quest to try as many items as I could fit. As a newcomer to Beacon I can guarantee that my rerurn visits to the Cup and Saucer will be frequent. I found the food to be as good as any comparable tea room in the City and the welcoming staff made this new Beacon resident fell entirely at home. |

Variety: A little piece of heaven. I had heard of the cup and saucer for a long time but was never really that interested in having 'Tea', truth be told, I only went because I saw a coupon in the paper and thought 'it's Christmas time I'll take my friend out for tea'. I have to say that it's probably one of the better ideas that I've had in a long while. My friend,Julia, had the butternut squash Ravioli and I had the reuben, we started off by sharing the pear salad. All I can say with out repeating myself is YUMMO on all counts. To top it off we had a scone and the bread pudding, amazing. Thank you for a delightful meal paired with great service by AnnMarie. |
