Dear Bonnie:
Loved the tea, tour, your hospitality...ALL! Thank you so much for including me at a truly memorable event!
And, what a neat 'package' of guests. Just proves the generations can relate, interact, respect, and appreciate. And remember, for some of us 2nd childhoods.
What a vibrant addition you are to EC! Every time I'vd seen you, been in your company, you've brightened the whole area with your beauty, know-how, and enthusiasim. Your love of family, humor, vivacity all fill the abbiance of your renovated home with the care and talents of both you and your husband.
Thanks again for the exquisitely done tea service, sort-of-patois--your obvious local interest, and for being you among us.
With respect & love,

We had a wonderful experience here in Elizabeth City with our tour of the historic district and ending with a full British tea in what is the oldest brick home in the district. The owner sure knows how to prepare real British fare, with tea sandwiches, scones made from scratch and to top it off dipped chocolate strawberries and tarts for dessert. Lots of food and you won't leave hungry. The presentation was fantastic, and the antiques in the home are something to see. She shared with us how the Victorians lived and had tea time. We listened to music boxes from the late 1800's and a tune on the 1840 pump organ.
What a day we had, just to relax, reflect and learn about the history that this town has to offer. Would recommend this tour and tea to anyone who wants a day in the past. Am booking my daughters bridal tea here for sure!
Thanks for making this day a memorable one for us.

My 4-year old daughter hosted a Teddy Bear tea for 7 of her friends for Christmas. The children loved the sandwiches shaped liked teddy bears, the delicious homemade cookies, and dressing in their fanciest dresses. As a parent I appreciated the patience Bonnie took to show the children proper etiquette at the table. Bonnie's original teddy bear story, the teddy bear the children received from Bonnie, and a surprise visit from Santa made this a memorable experience for all of us. She far exceeded all of my expectations. I would also recommend this as a wonderful setting for a special birthday.
