Variety: I don't want to leave a negative review but as someone who seeks out new tearooms, I feel it is only fair to point out this may not be what most are looking for. Although there was a large variety of tea offered, the tea was served in a plastic (melamine?)cup which pretty much ruined the taste of it for me. Although I realize not everyone is going to be picky about what their tea is served in, it really makes a difference to some of us and elevates the taste of the tea. I had planned to order food but was disappointed in the tea and didn't stay. |

Tearoom Response
We serve our tea in vintage melmac teacups and saucers. They are not plastic junk but rather part of our 50's through 70's teaware heritage. using real china is impossible because they get chipped and broken very easily as part of the dishwashing process. The vintage melmac matches with our groovy down-to-Earth persona so I can't apologize for that.
