Dori's Tea Cottage is an English-style tea room & gift boutique located in the former home of Groveland's former postmistress Minnie Ferretti. Built in 1935, the house features a welcoming brick courtyard surrounded by old roses and a 75-year-old grapevine. Inside you feel the warmth of the original hardwood floors and old stone fireplace.
Step back in time to partake in the English tradition of afternoon tea. Enjoy a leisurely tea luncheon or join a friend for a cup of tea in a tranquil and cozy setting. We also offer lunches-to-go for those travelers heading to or from Yosemite.
Our gift boutique features new and antique tea ware, more than 70 teas, tea books, unique gifts, picnic ware, unique cards, soaps and lotions.
NEW! We now offer a fine selections of wines, champagne and mimosas.

Variety: We were driving out of Yosemite and driving through Groveland we happened upon this place. Owned by a couple who are clearly dedicated to making the best experience. Great cappuccinos and breakfast wraps too! |

Variety: Being a Grovelander, I have been to Dori's many times and love it. It has become tradition to take my young granddaughter to tea when she comes to visit - a treat she loves and looks forward to each year. Last week I went to world famous Harrod's in London for a 'proper English tea'. Though the decor at Harrod's is very sophisticated, I was surprised to find that Dorie's is every bit as delicious, MUCH less expensive, and much more personal and inviting. |

Variety: This is absolutely the most charming tea room we've visited. We are regular customers because of the great food and variety of teas, not to mention the friendliness and the ambiance. |
