Variety: Dori's Tea Cottage is an inviting, delicious stop for both the traveler seeking an enjoyable stop on the way to Yosemite and the tea aficionado alike. Nestled in the heart of Main Street in Groveland, Dori's Tea Cottage offers delicious eats, an impressive selection of teas, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that is sure to please. In the boutique I purchased several gifts for friends and a few things for my own home. Service was excellent and the owners were friendly and warm. Can't wait for our next visit! |

Variety: Dori's serves an English-style lunch, and if you are into tea, you have to check this out. Quaint and charming tea room in a historic location, with no detail left behind. The décor, the ambiance, the table settings, the tea cups, and everything else are a tea-lover's dream. They offer a huge selection of teas, including extensive black, green, white, herbal, Oolong, Rooibos, decaffeinated, and iced teas along with numerous premium teas. Lunch servings are $9-16 per person and includes several finger sandwiches, some desserts like fruit and cake and, of course, a scone. Everything is homemade and fresh, and there is a variety of unique and tasty sandwiches such as Roasted Garlic/Herb with Cucumber, Ham and Apricot Preserves, Pesto and Pine Nuts, and Sundried Tomato and Feta. The service could not be any warmer or more attentive. Dori’s also offers snacks, drinks, and lunches to go and has a boutique filled with a unique selection of teas, tea accessories, and gifts. |

Variety: I have visited Dori's Tea Cottage 4 times, it is a very calm and friendly and each time has been excellent. My last visit this past Saturday, was the 1st day they started offer soup and on a rainy, cold day it was the perfect addition to their Tea Menu. So, if you are ever on Hwy 120 in Groveland, CA I highly recommend allowing time to stop by Dori's Tea Cottage, for a relaxing Lunch and friendly conversation. |

Variety: I have visited Dori's Tea Cottage on two occasions and both times have found it to be such a wonderful experience. The decor, food, knowledge of teas and friendly atmosphere gives it a charm all of its own. Dori and husband, Greg, mingle with the customers, answer questions, and just make you feel welcome. The gift shop has a truly wonderful selection of gifts. I really appreciated the genuine warm and friendly atmosphere this tea cottage provided for a wonderful dining experience. I am looking forward to my next visit!!! |

Variety: We were really delighted when we found Dori's still serving late Sunday afternoon. She made up something to eat for my cousin - allergy to yeast. Great end to my cousins from Ireland trip to Yosemite. Thanks Dori |

Variety: My father and I loved Dori's Tea Cottage! We were on our way to Yosemite, when we were lured in by DTC's charmingly European front patio. We found that the food was delicious and beautifully displayed as well. I especially enjoyed the scones, which were warm and crunchy on the outside. Both the staff and customers (all locals that day) were very friendly. |

Variety: I have found the Savoy in the Mountains! This place starts out by being a lovely place, with seating in the romantic garden or in the antique-like inside. Greg, Dori’s husband, warmly greeted my wife and I on both of our visits. The tea is high quality (not your Lipton cup of tea, I’ll tell you.), and the authentic homemade sandwiches brought me back to our visits in England. Even if you’re just on your way to Yosemite, call ahead and Dori will make the sandwiches TO GO. I don’t know how you’d get the tea for the road, but don’t miss it. It is great. This place is so good we will make it a part of every trip. It is like a personal visit in London. |

Variety: What a joy to find a tea room close to our favorite vacation spot! Dori's cute little business was a bright spot, beautifully decorated, with the nicest sign in the whole town. We brought our two little ones with us - age 2 and 4 - and they were enthralled. They enjoyed their lemonade as we enjoyed our delicious tea and food. A wonderful welcome and knowledgeable 'tea talk' plus attention to our smallest tea partners made the afternoon perfect. A little less heat and we would have enjoyed dining outside, but August weather was warm and so we were inside cool as a cucumber. The sandwiches were extremely tasty! Go, for sure! |

Variety: Dori's Tea Cottage was a delightful experience, along with great tasting tea and food. They had a wide variety of teas to choose from, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was very cozy, cute, and welcoming. The couple that own it were very warm and inviting. They also have a wonderful gift shop where I found some wonderful items to buy. I'd highly recommend this to anyone, especially if you're traveling to Yosemite National Park on Highway 120. Stop in Groveland for a delightful experience. |

Variety: My mother and I visited Dori's for the first time about a month ago. We're looking forward to a return trip! The owners are very friendly and accomodating, offering a wide choice of teas. We had a delicious lunch of 'samplers', enjoying every bite in the clean, calm, bright atmosphere. Perfectly brewed hot tea, in beautiful china, and a handmade cozy, attentive service. And both of us 'sampled' their retail area, as well! Unique, well-priced merchandise. We highly recommend Dori's! |

Variety: My first visit to a luncheon at a cottage setup just as a tearoom was done with a Brit, her American husband and their 12 year old son. All had a great time, although the 12 year old thought he was drinking his shampoo when he tasted one of the teas. :) All had a great time and didn't break any of the beautiful plates and cups. |

Variety: A must see for anyone passing through Groveland or on your way to Yosemite. Dori's Tea Cottage has one of the best gift boutiques w/ something for everyone. From fun tea accessories to great smelling soaps and candles to unique gift ideas, I found myself wanting to buy everything! Even better is the food and tea selection. You get so much great food and tea for the price. The best however, are the owners Dori and Greg (Cabana Boy) Jones who make the whole experience so fun and entertaining! |

Variety: Staying at Pine Mountain Lake, we visited Groveland, as we always do -- and I couldn't believe my eyes: a tearoom east of Priest Grade! We returned the next day during opening hours (10 to 4). Coming from the San Jose area, I was expecting something similar to Lisa's Tea Treasures. My expectations were exceeded. Personal service by the personable proprietors is one thing that sets Dori's Tea Cottage apart from the chain. The beautiful little garden in the front and the tastefully appointed interior added to the tea experience, which by itself would have been worth climbing Old Priest Grade. The teas, of which the choice is vast, were excellent (we tried English Breakfast, Apricot Green, and a herbal variety by the large pot). The food was wonderful too. We visited a 2nd time on our way back and were as happy (our kids too!) |

Variety: Dori's Tea Cottage is a beautiful and relaxing place to have lunch or a snack. The service is hometown friendly and warm. The variety of sandwiches and the amount of food will make even the most serious appetite happy. Every detail makes you feel special from the time you enter to the time you leave. The retail side of the cottage is full of lovely gifts and teas. Dori and Greg have made a wonderful addition to Groveland--for locals or tourists on their way to Yosemite. |
