I am very impressed! In this 'Contemporary' United States it is nice to escape to a better time. I love the tea room, It combines a bit of class with a down-home feel. This is truely a very nice combination. When I think of taking tea I do think of Jane Austen and the Victorian age so this just fits. The price is actually too reasonable for the ambiance and pleasure of taking tea at this wonderful mansion. The house is full of charm and if she has time the hostess will tell you a few stories on it! Xenia has more than a Tornado story with the advent of Edith Mae's I am a fan!!!

Was very impressed, we are 'fussy' about food and this went BEYOND our expectation. I NEVER like other folks chicken salad, but this was the first, it was EXCELLANT. We walked away stuffed and the service was just as outstanding!

Wow!! On variety of Teas Edith Maes is experimenting with some different types and that is a pleasant change. THe food cannot be beat and I think her prices are too low for all you get, but as she said you do not mess with a good thing. The tea room is very quaint and the variety of Victorian decor would leave any Jane Austen Fan well satisfied indeed. The house that the tea room is in is a masterpiece a work of art. I always get the best service here, and the food is so so good. For the portions you get and the price it is offered a great value. Edith is offering some wonderful soups for the winter months, but I was told she will bring back the fruit plate in the spring and summer. This is a must see, and a definite calling card for the City of Xenis!

This Tea Room is by far the best value in price and quality of food and tea. If you are traveling to other tea rooms do not let this one pass you by. I highly HIGHLY recommend.

My mom, daughter and I went to the tea room yesterday. We had a great time. The setting is amazing and the food delicious. If you wanted you could tea in style in one of the many hats that were around the rooms. We all had a delightful time. We did only have a choice of two hot teas so if you want a wider selection you might be upset. But the tea we had was very good and I wouldn't be put off by not having many choices. I recommended this tea room to two different people already and anyone who wants a great tea experience would get it if they would come here.

This tea room is located in a Victorian Home built in 1840 so the Victorian Decor fits the home. I like the fact that I can escape to a simpler time in history. The tea shop owner is a fan of Jane Austen and Pride and Prejudice and it is fun to chat with her. The tea is very good and the food is the reason I will be back.

The hostess is always in good spirits and can 'weave' some stories about the history of the house and the ghosts that seem to still be there. The tea is very good and very plentiful. The food does taste homemade and very good. I really like this place and will be back again.

What a great experience I had here. The tea was just great and I really enjoyed the gift shop. There is something for everyone in the shop and I bought for all the women in my office...

I would say this was a wonderful experience. The homemade Chicken Salad is the best!! The decor is whimisical and fun. It is fun to try on the hats and we had a good time doing so. The Tea is very good and the pots are plentiful.

What I really like about this tea room is the ambience. It is so neat to have tea in a mansion. I felt like a Queen and my daughter said she felt like a princess. Very good food and excellent rich tasting tea. I will be back!!

I took my mother to the tea room for her birthday and she was very pleased. Sharon is a wonderful cook and baker, she made my mom her own little birthday cake, she is a very talented young lady.

I attended tea at Edith Maes with my red hat group this week and i must say it was the best experience i have had at a tea room. You can tell the food is made with love and everything is homemade, unlike most places these days that try to take short cuts. I will be booking a tea of my own. Thanks to Sharon, you are wonderful!!!!!
