Economical Practical and reasonable. So many tea rooms around Dayton are high priced and do not offer the atmosphere and charm of Edith Mae's! I cannot rave enough! Th ebest Tea Room in Ohio..IMHO

My sister took meto the tea room for a relaxing, special time. She has been here many times and loves it. The mansion/atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous with unusual, beautiful items in the gift shop and the tea rooms. The hostess was very friendly, knowledgeable, and gracious! The food was absolutely divine and delicious with well timed service. We had an an absolutely wonderful time! We are already booking our Christmas teas-heard the tea room is gorgeous at Christmastime!

I am a repeat customer. I enjoy this tea room more and more each time I go. The house is beautiful, the gift shop always has interesting items, and I love talking about the history of the house. A great treasure for the City of Xenia and so close for my friends from Beavercreek and Dayton to get too. I recommend a slow leisure lunch with a cherished friend.

Very wonderful place to go have Tea. So much good food at such Low prices that I always Tip Big because of the fun I have! The food is so delicious and the tea is 'overflowing' I continue to bring a new person every month to experiece the 'atmosphere' The accomodating and willing attitude of the owner make it a pleasure to go there.

I have no idea what or whom miss flower is but Edith Mae's is the most accommodating tea room in Ohio. You can get many different tea selections and the tea is always plentiful and it is also very good. The tea hostess is the most friendly and congenial person and will accommodate the menu, but somehow I think she needs notice..Just the proper thing to do. So, as a regular customer, I strongly support Edith Maes and appreciate all the fun and effort that goes into the tearoom. I like that it is a fun atmosphere.

My friend and I went here about two weeks ago and were very excited based on the reviews on the board. The location of the tea room is in a beautiful old home and the gift shop is filled with things, I could spend hours looking at and deciding that I need. We were disappointed by the lack of choices when it came to tea, and the lack of attention to our tea pot. We were also a bit saddened to see we were drinking English Breakfast tea (we peeked after feeling the tea was a bit weak and wondering why). Rather than scones, we were started off with homemade banana bread and cinamon rolls which were delish, and then moved on to soup, sandwiches and desserts. Prior to making the reservations, I notified them of a nut allergy and was told that NOTHING had nuts, however something had almond e... (more)
