This was the worst tea room experience my daughter and I have ever had. The owner told us it was more like an american tea room as if that made the experience easier to digest. I felt like the victim of a used car salesman. The scones were a joke, the clotted cream was cool whip and the desserts were store bought items cut in half. This place is an insult to tea rooms and does not qualify as one.

Although the family that own's this tea room are extremely nice & attentive and the dress up area is wonderful, the food is sorely lacking. There isn't near the food that you would receive at other tea rooms (you get the equivalent of one sandwich with the crusts cut off, and the desserts aren't very good...like they were previously frozen. The tea is tea bags that you choose from a box. My stepdaughter likes the atmosphere & the fact that you can wear feather boas, but we both left still hungry after ordering the afternoon tea.
