Staff is extremely friendly, and attentive. Very large selection of tea (loose & bagged). The food was excellent! We've been to several tea shops in the US and this one is a gem.

The food was wonderful. Everything tasted so fresh and homemade. They had about 100 types of tea, mostly looseleaf fresh into my own personal teapot. The scones and desert were my favorite. Fresh homemade cream, lemon curd, and strawberry jam! I have never tasted deserts quite as wonderful as theirs. My favorite is the rocky road fudge brownie and the caramel banana squares. The workers were so friendly and make you feel at home. Its a lovely quiet place to have a delightful lunch. I go several times a week. You can't get tea like this anywhere else !

My husband and I recently visited this tearoom. We had the Royal Tea. The quiche and scones were good but the other treats were lacking. The sandwiches tasted like something you would find at a 7 Eleven, and the desserts were so sweet and basically the same. I wanted dainty sandwiches that were homemade and unique. Instead we were served plain tuna fish, egg salad, and turkey with a preserve. The bread was a little stale and was more like Wonder bread than anything 'tea' related. The tea selection was horrible, and most of the selection was in tea bags! We were very dissapointed and will not be going back!
The service was really slow too! We had reservations for 1:00pm and we arrived about 10 minutes early. There was only one waitress and it took her about 20 minutes to get our order. It took a long time for our tea and food to arrive as well, since everything seemed like it was from a jar or can.
