This is not a place to go an enjoy afternoon tea. It's got more of a pub type atmosphere. The food & service are shobby, teabags only, they can't or won't be bothered with special requests. I'm not sure if 'true Brits' enjoy this kind of experience...

This nook has such potential. It was downright cold with all the custormers in jackets. I was told the did not have a heater?! And the service ruined it, as friendly as they tried to be. Slow, Slow, and, like the other reviewer, they just would not pick up our bill.

Friendly people but took forever to get served. I wasn't terribly impressed by much of anything here, particularly the prices. I finally had to walk up to the cashier and pay my bill since the waitress didn't take much notice.
I was hoping to take my Red Hat group in here but found I couldn't bring in a private group until after 3 p.m. Bummer.
