I to have been going to the Englis Rose for several years and enjoy greatly. Since the recent (2012)ownership change they have had less European grocery items, which is a disipointment, however the staff has remained and the tea and food are still of great quality. I brim with excitement when i think of having High Tea or Lunch at The English Rose.

I have visited The English Rose for over 8 years and have always enjoyed the quaint and relaxing atmosphere. The recent owner has added new loose leaf teas and more lunch specials. The Cottage Pie is my favorite, followed by Bangers and Mash with their scrumptous mashed potatoes. The Afternoon Tea service is always a favorite for a treat or celebration.
