Food: I have enjoyed many afternoon teas at Espresso Lane in downtown Newnan Georgia. This is a lovley place for an afternoon tea.You must however make a reservation to enjoy the afternoon tea. You may however enjoy a lovley pot, or a cup of tea at anytime served to your table on a tray with a friendly smile .The review by Carolyn is just not true. We were setted at a lovley table with a beautiful white lace tablecloth,beautiful three tiered tea stands,beautiful fresh flower arangments were place in the center of the table. A single fresh rose for each guest on our place sitting. We were treated as though we were royalty. The black and white toile chia, and tea pots are just adorable. Food:  Oh my ... I don't mean to be unkind, but as a frequent user of TeaMap I feel the need to say that tea room lovers will be *very* disappointed if they show up here and expect a 'tea room.' It's a coffee shop (no table service) with a great 'old downtown' feel, but it's not a place with fancy tablecloths and three-tiered tea trays, so please know not to expect that! (But for a latte and a muffin, it's terrific!) |
