This review is long overdue since my visit to the Eternity Tea Room was in May for a Mother's Day present. It was a perfect gift: time with my daughter, deliciously prepared food and a wide selection of teas. The service was 'above and beyond'. Debbie took time to explain not only the menu and the order of eating the foods for the light afternoon tea since this was a new expereince, but she willingly answered many questions about the origin of the Tea Room and the decor of the room. While we were there, I was already thinking of friends with whom I wanted to share the time and relaxing experience. I'm in the process now of getting some friends together for a soon-to-be visit.

My friend and I are regulars at the Eternity Tea Room which we visit on a monthly basis as a way to catch up, relax, and enjoy the calming atmosphere Debbie creates through decor, food, service, and friendship. The food is crafted with love and it shows in presentation, taste, and carefully selected variety. Debbie is constantly looking for new flavors of food and tea while remaining loyal to the familiar. Every visit is a treat, whether it's for a special occasion high tea or a quick refreshing tea and scones. The ordinary becomes extraordinary and I always leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, and rejuvenated - ready to take on the world again! Thank you, Debbie, for all you do.

Debbie always goes above and beyond to make a visit to the tea room stpecial. My best friend and I try to go there at least once each month--just to have a relaxing few hours of good conversation, great food, and to feel pampered. I always feel that instant sense of calm when I walk through the door. The ambience is perfect, and the food is fabulous--Debbie always goes out of her way to make her patrons feel pampered and special.

When trying to decide what to give my mother for Mother's Day, I decided that time together would be the best present for both of us. Neither of us had been to a tea room, so I decided to surprise her and take her to the Eternity Tea Room. When I called to make reservations the owner recommended that we have the light tea since we'd never been to a tea room before. A great recommendation! It was a wonderful place to make memories and spend some extra special time together! The atmosphere was very relaxing. The decor was beautiful and even more special when the owner told us the story behind many of the decorations! The tea and food were delicious! The large selection of teas made it difficult to choose. We both thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! It just might become an annual Mother's Day tradition!

My recent visit to the Eternity Tea room was nothing short of magnificent! I have been to tea rooms all over the Eastern Seaboard and NONE compare to Eternity. Debbie always goes above and beyond to make sure each visitor has a unique and memorable experience. The atmosphere, food, teas, and service are a joy. You cannot leave Eternity without feeling wonderfully pampered, relaxed and cared for.

I had the pleasure, on a recent Saturday afternoon, to spend a very relaxing 3 hours at the Eternity Tea Room, with 4 of my Christian 'girlfriends.' I loved Debbie's expression of her ministry, in calling it 'tea fellowship.' Everything was absolutely perfect! The room's decor and ambiance, the delicious food, the delightful gift shop, and, of course, the very extensive list of teas from which to choose (we tried 3 different flavors!) Debbie was the perfect hostess! I admire her as a person who has a dream and uses her God-given talent to turn that dream into reality. This was my first visit, but I can't wait to come back again, bringing with me a few more of my friends and relatives to share in this wonderful experience.

The Eternity Tea Room is wonderful! It is obvious Debbie enjoys what she is doing and she cares about people. The variety of tea is extensive. I enjoyed each of the three I tasted: Rainforest, Creme Brulee, and Chocolate Almond. The broccoli cheese soup, chicken salad with cranberry on croissant, and cinnamon cranberry scone were all fantastic. She is a wonderful cook! Most importantly she has a kind, sincere, generous, hospitable spirit.

We recently enjoyed a little extended family 'Girls Day Out' at Eternity Tea Room. With it's lovely decor and intimate seating arrangement, it's the perfect place for sharing old times and creating wonderful new memories. The food was exquisite and the service was just right--attentive but not intrusive. Thank you, Debbie, for your gracious gift of hospitality!

Eternity Tea Room is exemplary is all aspects. Anyone making such outlandish comments to the contrary has misunderstood the meaning of what having high tea is all about.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experiences at Eternity Tea Room. It is great to see that this business brings a sense of society, etiquette, and class to this tiny town.
Keep up the excellent work. It is clearly appreciated by so many of your tea-sipping patrons!

The last 2 visits that I made were very disappointing. I was coming home with 2 friends from Virginia and decided to stop for tea. When we arrived we met the very nice Reverend who kindly sat us down at a table. Debbie, the owner, came out from the kitchen and told us in no uncertain terms that she would not be able to serve us because she had a small party of women, about 6 of them. I explained that we were just there for tea and scones. She proceeded to remind us again of how unwelcome we were at the time but permitted us to stay. My mother and I recently stopped by for an afternoon tea around 3:10 only to be told by the owner Debbie that she closed at 4:00 and that she could only provide tea if we wanted. I just think that if you are going to stop serving people at 3:00 then you n... (more)eed to adjust your hours. Again she made us feel so very unwelcome and I do not ever plan to patronize her business again. I also will inform my friends and family that it is not a place that they would want to stop for tea.

I apologize for you feeling that were treated in such an unwelcomed way, and I hope that you will come back again and allow me to make things right. It was my fault in not explaning that we only take reservations. Having tea is about taking more than just a few minutes to stop for something at a cafe, it is about sharing an hour or two with a friend or family member. I always want to provide a pleasant experience for all my customers and by having a reservation I can provide a time just for you (two hours or more if you wish) with everything you desire. With a reservations we serve all of our Tea Services up to 4:00. _Tea and Scones are available until 3:00. I am truly sorry for the inconvience this may have caused you. My sincere apology-Debbie

This is a tea room you want to keep coming back to. There is always something new on the menu or a new tea to try. I especially enjoy returning with a friend who hasn't been here before. From the decor to the presentation of the food to the presentation of the bill, it's worth the drive to this little town.

This was my first visit to Eternity Tea Room. The experience was excellent. My mother, my daughter and I had different teas and they were all excellent. The sandwiches, pastries and deserts were also top notch.
I would recommend to anyone in the area or anyone travelling through the area to stop in. It is not an experience that you are going to want to miss.
