Fairy Tea Cottage is very pretty and relaxing. The food was excellent (perfect bread) as was our tea. The service was very attentive, we will definitely come back.

I had my daughter's 6th birthday party in the Princess Party room and while the girls seemed to have a good time, I was extremely disappointed. My 'Mary Poppins' party coordinator was simply one of the owners who didn't even bother to get in costume (unless you call donning an apron a costume!). The day was extremely hot and the party room does not have AC, nor is it well ventilated. Needless to say, all of the girls were hot and a little uncomfortable. I was promised that the girls would be making tiaras, placemats, and name tags but the only crafty thing the girls did was color a xeroxed picture of a princess. They were rushed through this only to be led through a couple of games that were not very inventive. The tea was also disappointing. The only sandwich offered was peanut but... (more)ter and jelly and when two girls asked for something else, the party coordinator seemed annoyed. One of the girls was my daughter, the birthday girl, and she was even treated abruptly. We were also told the girls would be given cookies, but since I brought my own cake, no cookies appeared. They also mysteriously ran out of lemonade on a 95 degree day in Seal Beach! We spent time unwrapping presents when the girls should have been doing something else. Overall, I am extremely disappointed given that I paid $600 for a birthday party for 13 girls. I do not feel like I got my money's worth in food and service. The owners are both a bit icy, and I knew this going in. However, the location is convenient to where we all live so I decided to give it a shot. I should have followed my instincts and had my daughter's party elsewhere. The room is beautiful and magical, but there needs to be more to a fantastic party than just the room. It would be worth your time to check into other tea rooms for your daughter's birthday party.

Every experience I have had here as been good. The decor is warm and inviting and I love the sandwiches. Oh and I never leave without a piece of Zebra cake.... the again I haven't been here in a few months - I hope they still carry that!

We met friends at the Fairy Tea Cottage and had a delightful time. We were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. The decor was lovely, the food was delicious (the desserts were yummy) and the service was attentive. We'll definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful time.

While on a business I had time to enjoy Afternoon Tea. Everything was fresh and tasty, I have never had a pot of tea so hot, I could enjoy it all the way to the bottom.
The service was the tops!!!!

We were highly disappointed with the service and the price they charge for the extras (i.e. cream or jam) at this tea place. Even though the food and tea were good, we will never go back there again because of the terrible customer service and the ridiculous extra charge for a tiny bit of cream or jam. In short, we would not recommend this place.

I just attended a baby shower at this Tea Cottage and my friends and I had a wonderful time. We were so impressed with the decor and the food presentation. We had a wonderful chocolate mint tea that smelled good, and tasted twice as good as it smelled. There was a large tea list to choose from, all sounded scrumptious. The homemade scones were yummy and the devonshire cream and jam made them extra yummy. The salmon cucumber sandwich was my favorite!! The desserts were just to die for. We had a wonderful time, and I so look forward to going back again. I
will be taking my family and friends here often. If you have any desire for a wonderful couple of relaxing hours please try this Tea Cottage, you won't be sorry it's a lot of fun.

I have been to the fairy tea cottage 3 times now. When ever it is someones birthday I take them there. Its a time you will all remember. The service was excellent and so was the food. It was very calm and pretty inside. Your experience is what you make it. I was expecting a charming little tea party with someone special and that is exactly what I got. Very clean, and pretty. I would like to see them carry Fairy figures to purchase as gifts when you are visiting. I go to Orange each time I plan a trip to the cottage to add it to the gift I give. I recomment The Fairy tea Cottage to everyone
