Food: Fantasia Tea Cafe is located in a strip mall off of Bethel close to McDonald's and Subway. The atmosphere reflects this -- well-worn Ikea couches, flimsy plastic chairs, and Board games with missing pieces. It is by no means a comfy tea house. The staff can be hit or miss -- some are extremely welcoming while others can be surly. I have experienced many language barrier issues when ordering, so several times I've had to wait for them to make my drink again. I normally come here to get bubble tea, although they do offer other teas, milk teas, and smoothies. Their tea concoctions seems to be of a poorer quality -- made from powdery stuff. This place is OK if you just want a quick drink and you are up in that neck of the woods. But otherwise skip it. |
