Friendly, hardworking staff. Food was good, atmosphere was great. This is one of the very few tea rooms actually open on Tuesday.

Favorite Place Restaurant is decorated beautifully as a tea room. However, it does not serve the traditional English tea. Instead, it services sandwiches and wraps. The food was great. We had excellent lentil soup, salad, sandwiches and wraps, cakes, rosewater lemonade, tea and coffee. The service was excellent. My two friends ordered lunch special ($15), which came with soup, salad, and chicken wrap. My husband and I ordered the Friendship Luncheon (kind of like afternoon tea for $28 per person), which included their famous Rosewater Lemonade or regular iced tea, salad, 5 different kinds of sandwiches, fruit and dessert. For the sandwiches and wraps, we liked the egg sandwiches, the summer delight wraps (vegetarian), and From Russia with Love wraps (Russian ham with spicy Russian mustard dressing). Even though Friendship Luncheon didn't come with soup, the server brought my husband and me soup so we could have them together with our two friends. He also kept refilling our drinks and cleared our empty plates and served the next dish. Hot coffee or tea is served with desserts when you order Friendship luncheon. But the server didn't charge our other friends their coffee, either. We will definitely go back to Favorite Place!

This is not a tea room. I repeat this is not a tea room!!! Looks like one but certainly doesn’t act like one. With prior reservation and arriving on time, we had to wait 25 minutes to be seated, another 10 minutes to be acknowledged only to be told that for afternoon tea we had to call in advance and request afternoon tea ,menu. HELLO, that is precisely what we did. The food we ended up ordering was awful and the price was way too high. Not worth it.

They are RARELY open. I had to try for three months to get into this place and when I did I was disappointed. The food all had an after taste and the tea was always luke warm. Lastly it was way too expensive even for tea. Save your money, drive to Chado Tea it's much better.
