It was my first time to this tearoom and I brought out of town guests. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! First of all, I noticed in the dessert case had cakes from Costco (which turned out to be the dessert)-you could be a bit more discreet. We were there for 2 1/2 hours (would have been there longer had we not asked for the dessert right away after the sandwiches). It was 20-30 minutes between courses so by the time the sandwiches arrived (at hour 2, the tea was cold and we had to ask for more). The condiments were sparse for the number of people at the table. We were not even asked if we wanted to champagne.

Asked to speak with the manager to voice our concerns who was very polite and provided a discount. However, I went to the ladie's room and while there overheard presumably the owner talking to her wait staff about me (the customer) in a negative way. She never once came out to address any issues herself. Bad experience overall and NOT worth the money!

Very Disappointing! The Tea Room has a very nice ambience and atmosphere. The wait staff was very kind and gracious. But the cook staff was very lacking! We are a small (6) Red Hat Group and were told they love the Red Hatters. There were only a total of 15 people in the Tea Room. The tea selection was only 4 different types. But it was delicious tea, but not hot. Our order was taken right after our tea arrived and 2 hours later we still had not received our meal. It was only sandwiches. We left and went somewhere else to eat. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Royal Tea- $47 after taxes & a mandatory tip. Not worth it!!!!!! Presentation lacking, tea took forever to come out & the selection was slim. They were out of many things & sugar. Really, it's a tea room. Treats, just a bunch of pound cakes. The one great thing is the place is nicely decorated & the staff was friendly.
