I was so honored that my aunt took the time to find such a wonderful tea room to celebrate my birthday! I have been to a few tea rooms before, but nothing like this. Usually I want to stick to the teas I know I like, for the fear of not liking something and getting stuck with it. NOT here. There were so many different teas and most of them I had never heard of! However, they provided us with a tea menu that plainly described the taste. I LOVED THAT! Not to mention, you can sample a couple of different teas, your not stuck with something you don't like. Believe me, you are going to want to sample several. To my experiece most tea rooms just put a bag in the pot and serve it or mostly have common teas that I could pick up at the grocery, NOT here. These teas are truely special and you feel l... (more)ike the host and hostess really care about your tastes. Another great aspect was the food. Down south when families get together, WE EAT! Now ladies and gentlemen, be honest, when you leave a tea room you are probably searching for a McDonald's? Well, I had a complete four course tea that not only made me full but satisfied all of my senses! When I didn't think it could possibly get any better, it did!
Gracefully Yours was not only beautiful, but elegant. From the dishes and the teapots to the music and the decor. Ya know what, you don't have to look like a movie star or be dressed to the ritz to feel comfortable and at home. There is just a sweet spirit about that place. Tea should be, in my opinion, shared with the people you love and should a special bonding time. Many people think you have to dress a certain way or be a particular type of person to enter into the world of tea. They really don't know what they are missing. I know I have now been to what a tea room should be. I will always compare other tea rooms to Gracefully Yours!
Thank you Gracefully Yours for making my birthday special. I will come back, but I'm not waiting around for my next birthday!!

I had the honor and priviledge of hosting a bridal shower for my best friend as her matron of honor. We had gone to a bridal expo that was held back in February and the bride stayed at this tea room booth for close to 30 minutes talking to the owner and sampling all the goodies they had. So when it came time to plan her shower, what better way to celebrate with her, her family and friends then to hos a bridal tea for her. Everything was perfect!!! All the different teas and the delicious foods we had. Everything was beautiful and tasted great! I am looking forward to when I have another party to throw because I know where my business is going. The owner's were so accomadating and friendly. And the best part about the tea room... they are Christian based which meant so much to me. As you sat down to the beautiful laid tables, each tea cup has a peice of scripture laid on the saucer. It was a beautiful touch!!!

I visited this tearoom in April with my 3 sisters - 1 who lives in Kentucky and 3 of us visiting from Maryland. My sister also invited about 15 of her closest friends! I cannot say enough good things about this tearoom. The food was delicious. The presentation of the food was lovely. The tea selection was excellent. The hostess and host were delightful and so accomodating. I loved the Proverb saying at my teacup AND I came home with some treasure from my visit from the delightful gift shop! I have been to many, many tearooms in the US and England, and Gracefully Yours is definitely in my top 3! Best wished for continued success.... Teafully yours,

I've attended Gracefully Yours on three occasions and find it to be one of the best places to spend a delightful afternoon. In November, I celebrated my very own bridal shower and Jerry and Malisa were very accomodating to our requests. They allowed us to decorate with vintage wedding gowns from my family members, paid greatcare to my pineapple allergy and they served my tea out of an antique teapot which I was gifted by my grandmother during the shower. Jerry even washed it out for my trip home! My grandmother to this day talks about how she feels like Jerry must be a long lost relative. I believe she would have taken him home, if she could have.
We had such a great time at my shower that my mom, sister, and I returned the day of my bachelorette party for a high tea. It was... (more) lovely and relaxing. They were very accomodating. We must have tried a dozen different types of tea! As always, the food was to die for. I am dying for some of Malisa's recipes; particularly the potato soup!
My third visit was this past Saturday, for my dear friend's bridal shower. Everything was perfect, as usual. I'm still dying for some recipes! *Hint Hint*
If you love tea, definitely stop in for a cup or two. You'll be glad you did!

EXCELLENT! The ladies of our family enjoy tea together every other month and we are trying to visit every tea room around KY. Gracefully Yours was the best so far! The variety of tea was unbelievable, food was wonderful and we had the best time trying on hats. Our only wish was that our tables were pushed together instead of splitting our group in half, however in the end it didn't really matter because we had a great time! We also enjoyed the bible verses that were put on each tea cup. I would also recommend letting us know somehow that the gratuity is not included with our tea, especially for those of us that visit other tea houses, all of which have the gratuity added in. Overall, this tea house knows how to host an excellent tea!

Kathy, thank you for such a wonderful review. We aplogize for not having the tables together. We try to accommodate this request when we are aware. Also, thank you for the advice regarding the gratuity. But, when we opened the business, we wanted people to not feel like they had to tip, but to tip if they felt the service was worthy. Our thoughts are tips are expressions of gratitude for service well done and if one should desire to leave a tip then, 'thank you.' We look forward to seeing you all again soon. Malisa

Gracefully Yours is just the best experience! The atmosphere is very calm and relaxed, Jerry and Malisa truly mean what they say 'come for tea and linger over the conversation and enjoy yourself.' They do not for any reason cause you to feel hurried or harrassed - just completely cherished as an old friend! They will not bring you the check, when YOU are ready to go, then you get up and go to pay - NOT before. Malisa makes the most delicate chicken cranberry salad on phyllo pastry, her scones melt in your mouth...I have never had anything not positively delish. I absoulty love the fact that they do not hide their faith in God or refuse to take an extra minute with their customers to share. By the same token, they do not force anything on anyone!! This tearoom is like no other in the area. The atmosphere is very charming and relaxing. When you enter Gracefully Yours, you enjoy the experience of a fine tearoom; yet, the hosts make you feel very relaxed and welcomed (like you are their personal friends). The atmosphere is not stuffy. They are happy to educate you on the topic of tea . We learned that sticking your pinky out while drinking tea is NOT the 'proper'
thing to do according to standards. The hosts demonstate a passion for what they are doing. I attended with two 15 year olds. They were fascinated by it all. The choice of teas is lengthy. My favorite was a blend called, 'Buckingham Palace,' which is an English black tea.
The food was incredible (and there was plenty of it). We started the 'Afternoon Tea' off... (more) with a mushroom bisque soup and quiche. We ended the experience with a variety of other scrumptious, homemade delights. (They made a homemade whipped cream for the scones -the best that you will ever find). If you are in the Vine Grove area, you won't want to miss visiting this tearoom. There were not any flaws found! The presence of the Lord is evident in this place! What more could you want in a tearoom!

I see my sister beat me to the punch in posting our reviews. While I can't match her eloquence, I can only add to her praise. Malisa and Jerry are as warm and welcoming as they can possibly be, greeting their guests like long-lost friends. They clearly enjoy their work, and are more than willing to share their abundant knowledge of teas. They are able to deftly serve and educate their guests, while not being intrusive or overly 'chatty.' I highly recommend the Long Island Strawberry, a green tea, and the Bourbon St. Vanilla, a rooibus tea. The atmosphere at Gracefully Yours is charming and has an understated elegance; I felt quite comfortable, yet pampered. Malisa and her mother do the cooking, if I remember correctly, and everything we ate (during Afternoon Tea) was delicious. I give e... Yesterday my sister treated me to Afternoon Tea at Gracefully Yours. This was my first experience in a tea room of any kind, and it was an unqualified success. The decor of the shoppe is elegant, yet unintimidating, with shimmering floor-length tablecloths and candles on the tables. The service was warm and personal; Jerry and Malisa spent generous amounts of time chatting with us and graciously educating us about different types of teas, their origins, and preparation methods. We especially enjoyed sampling their blends of Roobios and green teas. The food was delicious and homemade, a rare treat in our era of pre-packaged, processed restaurant fare. Most of all, I was impressed by the care and attention to detail that the owners show. It is obvious by their kindness and warmth that they love their work. The decor was traditional and charming, the atmosphere relaxed and calming, the owners/hosts were welcoming, friendly and informative. Because the savories and sweets are so delicious, you will find it hard to decide on just one favorite food. Their tea list was very descriptive. Even though they welcomed us to try many different varieties of tea, it would take many visits to try all of their selections. We tried a Chinese Pai Mu Tan white tea, a Rooibos red tea, an apricot ginger tea and a gunpowder green tea. As an added bonus, their gift shop tempted us with a wonderful assortment of items. It is the best tearoom that I've ever been to! You definitely have to go there!
