I took my daughters recently, the food was very good, but this isn't a tea room anymore. There are new owners and it's a restaurant now. They did serve us tea, but it was just packets, I didn't mind, but the purists would be upset. It's called Penn Street Cafe now. I would go back for lunch or dinner, but it's no longer a 'teahouse'. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

I attended Gypsy Theater's Mary Poppins Faerie Tale Tea at the Green Arbor and it was fairy tale perfect. All of the sandwiches were delicious and the scones unsurpassable. And every tasty dessert was fresh made on the premises. My favorite however is the daily luncheon buffet -- an incredible value for the best home cooking around. Beryl has the magic touch to be sure. I often drool at the thought of her chicken artichoke in rosemary parmesan cream sauce. Her catering is top-notch
