Food: Grounded is a favorite spot of mine. The tea list is very impressive and about the least expensive that I have seen in the city. Further, they will re-steep your pot for no additional charge, which is great for certain teas. The ambiance is delightful, with plenty of cheer to go around. The staff is always pleasant and warm. It does get a bit crowded, so seating can be a problem at peak hours. Finally, the Salmon Salad is my favorite sandwich and I love their hummus plate. |

Food: Perfect example of a 'Tea Room'. Lovely place to enjoy a great cuppa and a place to read/breathe. Great staff and selections. |

Food: My favorite place in the W. Village to hang out and read. Usually very quiet and calm, with very low key music in the background, very little talking. However, it is always crowded and rare is the time you can just walk in and find a table. |
