Variety: Today my friend Terri and I enjoyed our very first High Tea at Hallowed Herbs & Brews and it was fantastic! I had a vanilla tea that was smooth and delicious. We started with white bean soup and pumpkin soup followed by a homemade scone with chocolate chips. All the food is organic and is made on premises by the lovely owenr Lisa. The 2 tier tray of finger sandwiches were to die for! We had a turnip & spinach rolled in marble rye, a turkey sammie shaped like a tea pot, a leak quiche and a few others. It was all very filling and such a reasonable price. I would highly recommend Hallowed Herbs to everyone, I will definatly be going back very soon! The place was so quaint and the owner was our server and sooo friendly. It was a great experience! ----Christine |

Variety: Love the decor, and the tomato and roasted red pepper soup was delicious. So was the chocolate and maraschino cherry scone. But I wasn't as fond of the sandwiches, and the blue cheese and cranberry quiche was too weird for me. The sweets were just ok, but I'm picky. The lemon cake was all right, I didn't like the chocolate sprinkles on top of the chocolate-dipped strawberry (too sweet), and the snowcapped chocolate cookie didn't interest me. I had been hoping for fruity tarts, napoleons, and profiteroles. Overall, still very nice, and the price is great. |

Variety: I have never imagined that I would enjoy visiting a tea house. However, I wanted to give it a try. I did and everything was fantastic!! The tea I chose (I believe it was lemon ginger) was very nice and the food was delicious. Especially the potato and leak soup and of course the yummy scone. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I can not wait to go back again! |

Variety: Five of us enjoyed High Tea at the Hallowed Herbs Tea House. It was a delightful experience. The proprietor, Lisa Tavakoli, is an herbalist. She described each tea for us, on request, as well at the food items. Every course was carefully prepared and presented. At the end, Lisa presented us with a few surprises,to the enjoyment of our party. We would highly recommend Hallowed Herbs to all, it was a fine experience. |
