Into My Garden Tea Room, Cafe and Catering

I had a baby shower for my sister-in-law in May 2010. My mom drove in from out of town to help me find a place. We went to Into My Garden Tearoom. My mom loved the antiques, china and décor but that really isn't my personal style so I was a little worried. When we met Sue the owner, she was very sweet and so accommodating. They were very busy when we went and Sue took the time to talk with us without neglecting other customers. The food was wonderful!! You get so much and the price is extremely reasonable!

We decided to have it at Into My Garden Tearoom and we rented the big room. That was the best decision we made! Leading up to the shower, Sue and I emailed back and forth. We talked about menu, pricing, etc. She was very helpful and gave me very good advice while all along bei... (more)ng very patient with me and all my questions.

On the day of the shower, things went so smoothly. We were able to sit back and enjoy the time together while Sue and her staff waited hand and foot on us. My mom and sister, both from out of town and helping with the shower, were so impressed! Our guests loved the service and the food - and all said they would definitely be back again! Most importantly, it was a very special day for my sister-in-law.

I would highly recommend Into My Garden Tearoom for any occasion but especially for large parties. Sue and staff are not only professional they are so sweet and will do whatever it takes to make your event a success! The food is wonderful too! This is the experience I had with them and I hope this review helps.

Had a fabulous, delicious lunch on Saturday with close friends and relatives. The food was absolutely out of this world! Had done a bit of research on other tea rooms and decided Into My Garden sounded like just what I was looking for. It was quite the lively place to be! So many different celebrations going on! We had just the perfect service from our waitstaff. I can see why Into My Garden has earned the #1 tea room!

Into My Garden Tearoom is my favorite oasis for lunch/princess tea parties. The warm welcome by Sue and Linda set the tone for each experience. Delicious food with beautiful presentation is always the case when I dine here...lunch, tea, and dessert are just wonderful! I look forward to each and every visit to Into My Garden. What a blessing!

Although I've never had the tea (don't like tea, in general) I'm in LOVE with Into My Garden. This is my haven. The owners, Linda and Sue, are fantastic. They make it a point to try and remember your order and the other waitstaff and chef are incredible. They really know their stuff. It's a GREAT day when I get the privilege of going here.

Drove 40 miles to have lunch at #1 tea room in the state of Texas. The staff made us wait for at least 20 minutes. The tea room was not full.There were 4 or 5 available tables for the guests to sit. We were not the only ones waiting. We did not feel welcome. We would not have had any problem waiting for a table if they had their tea room full. But the fact that they would not let us go inside and sit was a little strange to me. One of the hostesses came out and told us it will be a couple of more minutes. After waiting for another 7 or 8 minutes we decided to leave. I can not say anything about their food or tea.We left the tea room hungry and disapointed.
Tried to leave a reviw without rating the food or tea,but unfortunately it will not go through. I will rate them all average.

We had my daughter's bridal shower there on June 19th.
The food, the service, the atmosphere was perfect for the occasion.
I highly recommend Into My Garden Tea Room for not only showers but for lunch with the girls!

I honestly did not see any reason why this tearoom is number one. I did not feel welcome there and had a feeling that the dessert was NOT homemade I will not be returning anytime soon. Besides my tables cloth or shall I say quilt was filty.

Sue and Staff, Thank you for the most memorable Bridal Tea for myself and my bridesmaids and other special guests. Your beautiful tea room, attention to every detail and the most scrumptious food will forever be such a special memory for me. Ate their this past weekend. My sister found a screw in her salad and the lady replies 'oh well thats not ours, must have been in the lettuce...oh well.' we did not receive an apology or a discounted meal or any compensation. We were highly dissatisfied with this tea house.

We also felt very cramped. I kept hitting the lady behind me with the chairs and with any sudden movements.

I do not recommend this place!

The Racy Red Annual Tea was held at Into My Garden this year and it was a wonderful experience. Sue Nagy was so nice to work with and she did an exceptional job of making this a very special event for each of us. The variety of tea was awesome and the food was so plentiful and just delicious. Each one of us carried a to-go-box with us when we left. Our Royal Tea Affair was indeed a Royal Affair!! We loved it and we will be back!!!

Neighboring chapters of the Red Hat Society recently celebrated the 4/25 birthday of the national organization at INTO MY GARDEN TEA ROOM in Plano, TX. Working with one of the store's owners Sue Nagy was a blessing in making the event special for each participant. The wide variety of menu choices, the delicious entrees, and the welcoming atmosphere of venue and staff all contributed to a delightful experience. When the Red Hatters said they'll 'be back,' we knew this tearoom would be recommended in neighboring towns!

I gave all aspects of Into My Garden Tea Room excellent ratings. I wished there were more review categories as I would add excellent to those categories and add the word PERFECT also!! There is just a personality to Into My Garden that is fun, girly, relaxing and accommodating. A very popular lunch destination as well as celebration of brides, babies and birthdays. LOVED IT! Will be back many, many times.

I threw a baby shower for my twin sister at Into My Garden Tea Room. We could not have asked for a better place to have it!! The atmosphere was traditional yet whimsical. It felt like we were dining in a doll house! Sue and her staff were so kind and accomidating. The food was delicious -- the Sampler was the favorite. A perfect setting for baby showers, bridal showers or even just an afternoon tea. The mom-to-be says she can't wait to take her daughter there for a tea party :)

Thanks very much for so kindly accommodating my 'diet' restrictions this past Saturday by preparing a special plate for me. Because of your generous efforts, I definitely was able to enjoy myself with my friends (although I was SO tempted to cheat and try all of the scrumptious “sweets” displayed ever-so invitingly on the table). I felt very welcomed, and I just wanted to express my appreciation for helping me out. I hope to visit your tea room again and again, and will certainly tell all my friends about your friendly, refined, and picturesque establishment. It was truly an enjoyable afternoon!

I had Into My Garden Tea Room cater a bridal shower I hosted this past Saturday. Everyone, including myself, raved about the food. Everything was delicious and the portions were more than generous. I will definitely use them again for my next tea party. :)

My job has me frequently traveling. I use teamap to find tea rooms in all cities of the US. On my recent visit to Plano for a business event I discovered Into My Garden Tea Room! I will rate this tea room in the top 3 tea rooms of the US I have visited. The lunch sampler plate was fabulous. The quiche was more 'souffle' like than simply an 'egg pie' like so many quiches tend to be. The creamy potato soup was smooth as velvet - topped with real bacon, cheddar cheese and green onion. The wild rice chicken salad was so unique with the ingredients (artichoke hearts, black olives and wild and long grain rice) and OH the pasta salad - if only I had the ability to take it home with me! It was simply the best. For dessert I enjoyed their seasonal dessert - bread pudding with a Bacardi rum... (more) sauce. I walked away more full than comfortable :)
The entire historic district(where this tea room is located) is so charming and I would love to have been able to stay and shop the unique shops and galleries. This tea room should be a destination for a day out!

I LOVE THIS TEA ROOM! Pleasant and friendly staff, always. The food is consistently DELICIOUS and it's so relaxing and welcoming. The owners truly care about the quality of the food. You can tell attention to detail is always present.

I am a single Dad who had the herculean task of hosting a 7 year Birthday Tea Party for 13 little girls. Sue and her staff helped make this happen with what seemed like little effort even though I know it is anything but simple. The girls were so excited yet so well behaved as they wore their little tiaras, sipped their 'pink tea', and munched on their flower shaped sandwhiches and fruit kabobs. For all you parents out there, this is the place to make your reservation for a magical moment you and your daughter will always remember.

Our organization, Keepers of the Home...also known as FaithKeepers, has held our Mother Daughter Tea at Into My Garden Tea Room for four years straight. We just had our tea on Saturday Feb. 13 and again we had a wonderful time. We have always enjoyed excellent service, food, and just love the intimate atmosphere. Sue has been delightful and outrageously superior with her abilities as hostess and owner of this tea room. Linda is just as wonderful and incredible. I had my granddaughter's 5th birthday party at Into My Garden Tea Room and it was WONDERFUL! The girls had 'pink tea' and 'pink hot chocolate' along with finger foods. They each received a goodie bag, there was a craft for the girls to do and of course, a cake with a teacup on it. It was a princess theme and all done in pink - my granddaughter's favorite color. I was pleased and very impressed with the service and the attention to detail. A good time was had by all.

A jewel in downtown Plano! The food and the service are superb. Sue and her staff are more than willing to go the extra mile to provide whatever is needed to make the dining experience an enjoyable one. I've used the tearoom for catering business lunches that are delivered on time as well as for personal entertaining. Now that my granddaughter has been introduced it's the only place she wants to go! The tearoom is a delight.

Everything relating to the meal and ambience was wonderful. My only issue is that for a party of 2, a 20% (or so) gratuity was added to the bill and the waitress did not mention this, nor was it mentioned on the menu. When my credit card slip came for me to sign, there was a place for a tip. Many people don't look at their bills, so they would double tip. This really bothered me, so beware!

Highly recommend Into My Garden for a business luncheon for women. We had 20 women dressing up with hats, gloves, pearls, and boas all supplied by the tearoom---was fun and something different. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. The semi private room held us comfortably and was the ideal setting.

I think everyone was very impressed, and as I said it is a tradition that we have done for 11 years. It is always a special treat for everyone, and a break for a few hours from the 'hustle & bustle' of the Christmas rush! You helped to make everything so nice and comfortable, and the food was wonderful.

This place advertises to cater in little girls tea parties but when we went in just for a mommy and me dessert and tea I was very disappointed in the service we received. The ladies there acted like we were an imposition instead of their guests. The tea offerings were like that of which we could purchase in any grocery store chain. I would not recommend this tea room unless you do not have children.

We choose Into My Garden Tea Room to celebrate my mother's 73rd birthday.......it was fabulous! Very quaint and intimate. Food was over the top, service was like you were one of the family!

Over the top excellence describes Into My Garden Tea Room. I love their lunch menu, afternoon tea service is the best you will ever experience both with the courses presentation and taste. Service is always relaxing and friendly. This tea room provides a relaxing atmosphere - perfect for lunch by yourself or with friends. Seems to be very popular with moms and daughters having tea parties. So nice to see young ladies acting like young ladies! 5 *****
