Into My Garden Tea Room is located in beautiful Historic Downtown Plano nestled amongst all the wonderful shopping and less than one block from the Plano DART station. Into My Garden Tea Room sets the standard of what a true tea room is. We are located in the back of Nooks and Krannies Gift Shop. Whether coming for lunch with a girlfriend or many, your lunch hour or attending a bridal or baby shower, Traditional English Tea, Someone Special and Me Tea Party, Little Girl birthday tea party, group luncheon (Red Hat, book club) etc. Into My Garden Tea Room has freshly prepared quiches, soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts all prepared by our staff chef, Cherish Penermon. Our beautiful victorian ambiance in our 110 year old building along with our appreciative, friendly and knowledgable staff make your visit complete. Food: my husband and i had stopped in to have tea and dessert. When we were seated we got the whole thing about trying the special or the suggestion of the sampler plate. when i told her all we wanted was tea and cake, you would have thought that i did a horrilbe thing. The look that i received was very rude. We were served and got the ticket soon after. I will never go back. I feel there is no reason for poor service. |

Food: Saturday, April 25th, Myself and 3 friends enjoyed a Princess Tea Party for little girls. We had 4 little girls 5 and under. The girls had a wonderful time with the pink tea (Pink lemonaid) the darling lunch (star sandwiches, fruit kabobs and the choc chip muffins) and the ice cream and sprinkles for dessert was for them over the top! The table was set so sweetly with Cinderalle and the other princess. The girls laughed and giggled the whole time we were there...the adults had a great time enjoying the girls. The adults had the sampler plate and it was outstanding...if you are looking for a tea party for your little princess this is the place to do it! Thank you Sue for a fun Luncheon! |

Food: We visited Into My Garden Tea Room on Saturday. Myself, my mother and our friends. It was WONDERFUL! We love visiting different tea rooms and Into My Garden is now a top choice. It is our 'custom' to each order something different from the menu, not only to be able to taste more of the menu selections but to examine the presentation. Both the presentation and the food itself was delicious! Our food arrived on a collection of different china plates with food that was presented so exquisite on the plate. (I took a picture - it was so beautiful!) Portions are more than generous, (not always the case with tea rooms) The food was so fresh it melted in my mouth and I must add the service was genuine and courteous. |

The table was set so well and my daughter felt so special on her first mother/daughter Secret Keeper Girl date. We loved the food and the personal service. Food: What a wonderful and satisfying experience! My mother and I came to celebrate her birthday and it exceeded both of our expectations. The staff is wonderful, warm, friendly and exceedingly helpful starting from when I made the reservations via phone. Once we arrived they were so gracious and allowed us to change our reservations to an earlier time slot. We celebrated with the delicious sampler plate and English tea service. What a delight! All the scrumptious food served in very healthy proportions. The tea is served in individual charming teapots. We enjoyed the experience and never felt rushed or hurried. As busy as the place was, the hosts make you feel special and even stopped to take our picture. We will definitely be back and it serves the top ratings everyone has given it. |

My goodness - I must agree with the previous poster, there should be a rating higher than excellent - superb, outstanding and wonderful beyond description, for starters! We were greeted promptly and friendly at the entrance, seated immediately and made to feel very welcomed. The menu was explained to us so we knew the specials in all categories. Sue and her staff were beyond accommodating in allowing our group of ladies to book a mid-afternoon luncheon on the Saturday before Christmas so that those in our group who work could attend. My mother, sisters and two daughters were all in attendance and they have continued to sing your praises. Food: Hello I just had to share my wonderful first tea room experience which I chose to have at Into My Garden Tea Room. My dgaugher and I visited Into My Garden for our first Secret Keeper Date, a chrisitan bible study for moms and daughter and date one is at a tea room. The owner Ms. Nagy accommodated my daughter and I on short notice with her Secret Keeper Girl Package, providing all the props for the date. The atmosphere was lovely, charming, whimsical--I couldn't believe that I was still in Plano. We were nervous about having to dress up and be formal but Ms. Nagy assured us we would be fine in our casual attire and we were. Food: What a happening little place. I was out and about with my cousin who was visiting and we popped in for lunch. This must be the place to be for sure! It wasn't hard to figure out why after ordering the lunch sampler plate. A very hearty plate with souffle like quiche, a cup of creamy chicken tortilla soup, a pasta salad that I begged for the recipe and chicken salad that was tasty, not dripping in mayonnaise. Now there are quite a few eateries to choose so we started asking the shop owners as we figured they'd have an inside opinion. Hands down, they directed us to Into My Garden, What a beautiful, historical tea room, All 6 of us enjoyed our selections including a wonderful Chicken Caesar.....more chicken than my friend could fnish. Food: We just had my daughter's 5th birthday party at Into My Garden. It was absolutely perfect. My daughter was so happy and she and her girlfriend's are still talking about the pink hot chocolate. I have 3 kids and it was by far the easiest and least stressful party we've every pulled off. Sue took care of us like it were her own daughter's birthday party. I highly recommend this place for little girl parties and I can't wait to come back and have an 'adult girly' lunch with my girlfriends! |

Food: I cannot say enough wonderfull things about Into My Garden, the food, the tea, the service and atmosphere are outstanding. I try to go once a month when I can. I take friends and family who come to visit and had my best friends bridal tea as well. I always make reservations and order the Royal Tea Affair, it is most like a tradition english high tea and so wonderfull. Sue and Linda do a fantastic job on everything, it truely is my favorite place, even tho its a good 30 minutes from where I live it is worth the trip. My favorite items are the chicken salad elegant and the creamy chicken tortilla soup (only served on sat) you would do well to go on a sat just for the soup alone its that good. Food: I've been here for lunch, but today was my first time I've had their tea service. The food was wonderful...we're talking seriously good, as was the selection of teas. Unfortunately, they seemed to be very busy today and/or short staffed. We waited 15 min to get our tea and were seated a good half hour before our first course arrived. We did mention that we weren't in a hurry, but certainly didn't expect to be sitting with nothing in front of us for such a long amount of time since we had tea reservations. Food: WOW! What an incredible afternoon tea service Into My Garden Tea Room offers! There are so many choices - no problem for me that my tea choices were on a paper menu - the staff was very knowledgeable of the pairings and steeping times. I have been coming for years to this tea room for lunch and always admired all the afternoons tea-goers, so I finally made a reservation for me and 6 girlfriends. Food: Wonderful experience...However the option to order tea off of a paper compared to being offered the fresh tea leaves to see touch and most importantly smell...was a bit of a disappoint...you can quickly get over it when the large tea pots are sat before you and the most wonderful presentation begins and doesn't end until hours later... a must do when you know of a special event is nagging at you as to where to go and what to do with the girlfriends, daughters and granddaughters! |
