Variety: I would highly recommend this spot to those who would appreciate the elegance and escape provided at Iris and Ivory Tea Room. It's not just a place to get something to eat...but an experience that is as soothing as sipping on any of the variety of teas that they offer.(I pick the Rose tea over and over again!) When I open the door, the hurry and confusion of life is left outside and I am at ease and comforted by the delicate decor and sense of family. The soft music transcends me to a settled sensation. The food is delicious (love the cranberry chicken salad!) and accented by the kindness and warmth of the hands that prepared it and served it. Iris and Ivory not only nourishes the hungry bellies of the passerby, but nurtures the ones along the way. |

Variety: I just returned from lunch at Iris and Ivory and once again had such a wonderful experience that I felt that I had to write a review. Not only do I have lunch here on a regular basis, but I have ordered take out for dinner for my family on many occasions. Additionally, I have had many events at Iris and Ivory. I have had showers, a rehearsal dinner and several business meetings for my employees. Not only does Michelle make sure that your event is planned to your liking, but she delivers on her promise of good food and great service. I have had so many compliments on the events that I have held here that I never hesitate to recommend other people to Michelle and her business. I heard that she might close because of the construction situation on 910, but was delighted to hear that she is staying open. I couldn't bear the thought of losing one of my favorite places for lunch and or events. You have to try Iris and Ivory to appreciate all it has to offer! |

Variety: I am a 'regular' of the tea house I am retired and meet here a couple times a week with some of my friends. I have gotten to know the owner and her staff quite well, and we have talked many times about the business. The post that is two below mine is untrue, there was talk of not staying open due to the closing of the bridges along 910 over the turnpike, but I am here to reassure you that she has decided to remain open and see what happens. Unfortunately there are people out there who would impersonate someone else, to say something that is so untrue and down right rude about this wonderful place. I guarantee you that if you were to come in here you would see the wonderful atmosphere that all of us see when we eat there. God Bless her business and I hope that people will make there way there for it to become a favorite of their's like it has become mine. |

Variety: I visited Iris & Ivory Tea Room this afternoon with six other ladies for my sister's birthday lunch. We had a wonderful time, it is a great atmosphere, the service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. You can really tell that they truly care about the customers experience here with how they treat you and what they put in front of you. You definitely do not leave hungry! Although, a perfect lunch and time with friends, a very troubling thing happened while we were gathering our things and leaving. A woman who was there with an elder woman and man was complaining to the waitress about the quality of the food and how she would never come back, and when I asked the waitress what had happened. She had told me the lady was not pleased with the bread she was given, having just finished my... (more) |

Variety: Our Bridal Shower in the Iris Room was perfect due to Michelle's attention to detail. The food was excellent as was the service. The room decor was lovely and all agreed that the fine china place settings and linens added just the right touch of romance to the day. I have also enjoyed visiting for a pot of brewed tea. My favorite is the Peach Apricot Tea which is a whole leaf flavored black tea from the Metropolitan Tea Company. I topped it off with a fresh from the oven scone. The best way to grab a few minutes of peace in an otherwise hectic day! Thanks Michelle! |

Variety: My daughter's wedding shower was held at Iris & Ivory's in June. The food was absolutely delicious, everyone commented about it. The room we were in was quiet and very elegant. We liked it so much that we held a brunch the morning after the wedding in July for our out of town guests. This time the food was just as delicious and the service was great. Great job Michele! |
