My guests, who come into The Clipper Merchant Tea House, tell me consistently that they have so enjoy going into Jacqueline's Tea Room in Freeport. They say the food is delicious, the atmosphere is charming, and it's always a delightful treat to go for a special occasion, or just to spend a few hours with a friend and enjoy lunch and tea.
Now I can't wait to go and meet Jacqueline, experience what others have told me about this Tea Room, and to enjoy a lovely afternoon out with my daughter.

This place is gorgeous. Not only is the atmosphere relaxing, but their LIVE HARPIST that played when I was there adds an even more comforting appeal. Tea was exquisite..the food was excellent - the quiche warm and melty, scones hot and fresh, sandwiches savory, and desserts put the entire experience over the top. Five stars!

I've been here numerous times and have always enjoyed the ambiance, the service and the food. Jackie also prepares a celiac tea for those of us with gluten sensitivities. Try finding that elsewhere. All in all I give it a 5***** rating!!!!

I have noticed a few good reviews for this tea room, and I am afraid I'm not sure why they are so positive. I did not find Jacqueline's Tea Room special in the least. I went to Jacqueline's a few weeks ago. The tea was very good, but the food was not. The finger sandwiches were over-seasoned, and the desserts were dry and overly sweet. The decor is cheap looking. The fireplace wasn't on despite the fact that it was a cold day. I have enjoyed myself much more at other tea places, and would not recommend this one.

Grandma and Grandpa took me to tea for the 20th birthday and it was wonderful. The tea room was beautiful, the food fantastic, and the gift shop a pure delight. What a wonderful way to spend my special day. I'll remember it always. Also the next time I come for a visit, this is exactly where I want to come. A day for memories.
