What a most wonderful 'total experience' my group of 9 Red Hat Ladies enjoyed at the Victorian Tea at the Jamul Haven! Marianne and her staff are dressed in period clothing, and every little detail is noted to perfection and more. The tables are gorgeous with delicate linens, beautiful china, covered chairs, and each guest has their own teapot on a heated stand. Every guest has their own name tag as well on an adorable little holder. The food....oh my...the food. Everything is homemade and so delicious and so much of it. Several in my group had to take their desserts home. We had the opportunity to have a tour of the Bed and Breakfast and it was amazing. Words just can not describe the setting and the surroundings that Marianne and her husband William have put into the Jamul Have... (more)

The tea was wonderful at Jamul Haven. The food was very tasty and the staff very nice. We go a tour of the houses and each was decorated with christmas decor and it was really fun to see all the decoration. We went for my mothers birthday and she loves tea. She was very excited to see the victoran house. We all enjoyed the day and will go back again. I highly recommend the Jamul Haven.

I am not a tea connoisseur but, I'd have to say the Jamul Haven Victorian Tea was a heavenly experience. The enchanting surroundings, elegant presentation of the exquisite china and phenomenal food created a multi-sensorial feast. Marianne is an energetic and gracious hostess, making everyone feel right at home. AND, if you should forget to wear a hat, there are adorable choices right there in the gift shop you can purchase to round out the experience! I most definitely plan on going back!!

I have been to several teas around town and Jamul Haven is the BEST. The flavor of the teas, the delicious sandwiches, the yummy desserts. I thought the prices were low considering all food you get. I could go on and on how wonderful everything was..so JUST GO and find out yourself and take some of your girlfriends. You will not be disappointed.

An incredible venue, gracious hostess, beautiful presentation, and delicious food all made the Victorian tea I attended at Jamul Haven very special. By the time the tea concluded I felt that I had been transported on a mini-vacation. Marinne at Jamul Haven has just the right touch. Wonderful!
