Fabulous tea room!! The tea we chose had a beautiful floral aroma and taste. The tea sampler plate was amazing. We loved the Victorian atmosphere, very 'cozy'. We're going back for dinner with freinds and also with my daughter and grandaughter for an afternoon tea treat.

Kathleen's Tea Room is the most charming and inviting place to eat in the Asheville, NC area. The food is absolutely to-die for. No matter what you get. And if you don't know what to get the staff is very knowledgeable and able to help you find something you'll love! The tea's are delicious and brewed properly with a lot of care given to making sure they stay warm on the table.
Be sure to stop in for a few hours if you're in the area! You won't regret it!!

After several visits, I chose Kathleens to hold a Bridal Luncheon for 22 guest. Words can't describe how wonderful this event was. From the start we were treated with five star service. The food was even better than I anticipated,( and I had been there before) the service was friendly and well done, dessert was beyond belief and all was done while making us comfortable and feeling totally at home!! I would recommend Kathleens Tea Room to anyone for any occasion. We plan to have many more fun times there............

Yesterday I brought my friend, Susan, to Kathleen's Tea Room to celebrate her birthday. Kathleen's was her first choice restaurant as we had had several excellent experiences there before. Once again, we had a wonderful time. 'Delightful' would be the correct word. Our delicious teas were served with elegant ritual. The food was delicious and the dessert of Key Lime Pie was 'to die for'. For sure, we will be back!

What a wonderful place!! The food is scrumptious, the Pasta Purses are to die for!! The tea is fantastic, hot or cold, loose or bags & there are so many selections to choose from. The setting is perfect, you can either warm yourself by the fire or enjoy the fresh air out on the wonderful porch. The staff is very friendly & helpful! I have been going to Kathleen's tea room for about 2 years. I enjoy to food and the wide variety of teas. I could think of no better place to have my daugthers bridemaids luncheon July of 2008. I continue to enjoy going to the tearoom not only to eat and have tea. I also enjoy buying teapots and many of the teas that I can't resist not having to brew at home.

Kathleen's Tea Room is a very relaxing dinner outing. The atmosphere is warm with a lot of happiness. My favorite room is the library where a warm fire is always burning during the winter season. The Tea Room actually has several different rooms that have different themes. The menu is very creative and changes daily with the exception of the signature items. The tea is freshly made when ordered and the food is creatively presented. If you want a relaxing place to eat with a spouse or a group of friends then I personally recommend Kathleen's Tea Room.

What a charming place to spend the afternoon! When I visit my friends in Asheville we always take time to go to Kathleen's at least a couple of times. I never realized there was a difference in tea bags and loose tea. WOW! I am hooked and always take home a bag of their tea. The technique they use to smoke their dishes is wonderful. Who knew you could do so much with tea? Everything I have had on their menu has been fabulous! Unlike my friend who always gets her favorite dish, I like to try something different everytime I visit and I have never ben disappointed. Oh yesh..the desserts...the tea lime pie is exquisite and I certainly love those scones. There is a peacfulness about the tea room and its owners. I feel blessed every time I visit. Their hearts are warm and caring and they truly love people.

I love coming to Kathleen's! It is such a special place and is located in one of my most favorite victorian houses. The selection of loose teas is so varied that there is always something new to try. I also love how they incorporate the teas into the food which is always excellent. They have a wonderful vegetarian selection as well. My daughters have had many special tea parties at Kathleen's. They love to dress up in the vintage hats and jewelry and enjoying dining on the cute tea trays and scones. Kathleen's is the best!!

I never thought I would be writing a review for a team room but here it goes. The first time I visited Kathleen’s I was a little skeptical. I thought I would be eating tea sandwiches and sipping tea and that was just not my thing. Well I was surprised to find they had a full menu including lots of things that us manly men like to eat. My favorite tea is African Autumn. I never know there was anything but tea bags until I went to Kathleen’s. They put the loose leaves in a little bag and let it steep. I do like going there to have brunch and have also had dinner there many times. It is a great atmosphere. You can cozy up to the fireplace in the winter or sit on the huge porch when the weather permits. Yes..it is a great place to visit!

The food is incredibly delicious! The teas are outstanding - I love the fact that if you don't like your tea, they will fix you another kind. My favorite is the Cranberry Autumn - the blend is phenomenal and flavorful. I love to sit in 'the library.' Comfortable seating and a relaxing atmosphere. The servers are all friendly and it's just a wonderful place to relax. The new location (in the house) is so much better. And the porch and gardens are beautiful.

The ambiance is wonderful, from the wrap around porch to the cozy fireplaces inside. My favorite tea is the Wedding Tea but I sometimes get Paris. The food and service are always wonderful. My husband frequents the tea room because he is gluten intolerate and the chef always takes the time to prepare him something that he can eat too.
My favorite entree's would have to be the pasta purses,grilled asparagus with avocado on the swirl bread and I can't forget the newcomer, John's pimento and cheese with tomato. Yesterday I enjoyed when he served it on whole wheat pita and it was scrumptous! I get a chance to eat all my favorites because I go there at least three or four times a week.

We visited this tea room it was more like visiing her home. Tammi was so friendly and talked with us as if she had known us her whole life. We were there for 2 hours drinking tea and conversing. We had 7 different kinda of tea. The atmosphere was warm the food was good we had a great time. This has been most diffenetly one if not the best tea room we have visited. My daughter and my friends visit tea rooms when we travel and even plan trips around the tea rooms. This is alot of fun and we meet great people.
