Variety: I took my four year old son and we just LOVED it. They even prepared my sons tea (originally a hot tea, but they allowed it to cool and added ice) and then served it in a teapot so he could have it 'like Mommy'. He was so delighted! The tea selection is fantastic. The decor is comforting and relaxing. There are even little teapot salt and pepper shakers! The menu is just delectable also, I find myself craving the brie and apple croissant and my son LOVED his PB&J that seemed so gourmet since the bread is so good. We will be back often :) |

Variety: I love being a tea snob and Kathleen's is the perfect place for all tea snobs and tea lovers. I have taken Kathleen's scones to London with me because they are better than any I've found in England. The food is excellent so even if you aren't a tea drinker come and enjoy the fabulous food. Kathleens is the perfect place for a party of friends or for a quiet afternoon alone with a book, tea and scones. YUM! |

Variety: A friend and I decided to choose Kathleen's for lunch and to catch up on his recent mission trip to Africa. We had the most delightful server who took great care of us. We had to try several teas and enjoyed each one as they were brewed to perfection and served piping hot, just the way we like it! Our food choices were delicious; my guest had Tami's BBQ sandwich and cooked apples. I chose Amber's Turkey salad...and the turkey had been smoked in one of their loose-leaf teas and the flavor was delicious!! I savored each and every bite, enjoying the tea-laced pita chips on the side. We were satisfied, but when the server told us about the desserts...we opted to try a sampling of all of them. Tea-lime pie, cheesecake with a scrumptious raspberry sauce, chocolate ganache and something else...but paired with the rest of our hot tea, it was the finale that we indulged in. All in all, we had a nice lunch, great tea, wonderful atmosphere and service...we'll go back, of course. |

Variety: The first time I came here everything was excellant, second time - not so much. We had set our reservations weeks in advance and still got a bad table near several kids who were running around causing havoc. We had asked to be moved and the server told us no, that they needed other tables for larger parties, although the place seemed pretty empty to me. Maybe we just got unlucky with one bad server that day - hope so, because the first experience was so good... |

Tearoom Response
Please forgive us for not being able to move you. The server should have explained our policy to you. If we have a reservation for a table we will not use that table for another party even if it is several hours apart. The reason being is we never want to hurry our customers, we want them to stay and enjoy themselves for as long as they wish to stay. So even if it seems we have plenty of room at the time of your visit that possibly might not be the case. We do not have a 'bad' table, but cannot control who might walk in and take a table next to you with or without a reservation. I am sorry you had an unpleasant experience we try to be aware of this as much as is in our control. Please visit again.

Variety: Kathleen's Tea Room is my #1 place to be when I'm in the mood for delicous tea and heartwarming cuisine. Everything is always so fresh and tasteful, and the atmosphere seals the deal. This delightful tea room is a wonderful experience whether you are in the mood to spend time with friends or just sit back and relax while slowly sipping on a cup of hot tea. If you have not been, do so, it is most definitely well worth it. |

Variety: It is a real treat for me to have the opportunity to have lunch occaisionally at Kathleen's with girlfriends. In a busy and stressful world women live in today, the brief time spent there brings calmness, joy, and reminders of those simple days some time, (long) ago. What a blessing I recieved today from Tami and her wonderful team. Thank you Tami! |

Variety: I have to go to this tearoom often. It's my 'Happy Place'. Where else could you find a southern summer porch, set among trees on a quiet street so remindful of other childhood memories and leisurely times. Included is the fun of choosing delicious teas until you are connoisseur-bound. Start to finish - made from scratch, varying daily, so it's impossible to try them all. What you must pass over is your misfortune. The winter scene? Fireplaces, cozy rooms, offering ambience galore ... can't be equaled ... until it's summer again. |
